He was booked Tuesday for obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact to second-degree murder

Authorities found out about the existence of footage after receiving a tip-off in May
A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of his best friend at his wedding in 2018, after allegedly hiding footage of the shooting in Bayon Rouge, LA.
Christopher Jerome Sterling, 42, has been arrested for obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact for second degree murder.
His bestman 36-year-old Byron Jenkins, was shot and killed just after the wedding in January 2018.
Another guest at the wedding, a 23-year-old woman was also shot in the shoulder and sustained non-life threatening injuries in the shooting.
According to police, Sterling was holding his ‘wedding after-party’ at the Sterling and Sterling Detail Shop when the incident occurred at around 3am.
Jenkins had been his best man at Sterling’s ceremony just hours earlier.
