<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A Los Angeles property owner has sued rapper DaBaby for assault and battery, after a short term rental in December went terribly wrong.<br>Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, better known by his stage namme &#8216; DaBaby&#8217;, 29, is accused of being a party to a violent tussle in which a 64-year-old Gary Pagar claimed he was &#8216;beat, punched, spat on, threatened, shoved, and robbed&#8217; in confronting the rapper over the terms of their rental agreement.<br>In court documents filed in Los Angeles, homeowner Gary Paga, states that he had rented the home to the rapper for the purposes of &#8216;a private vacation&#8217; with nine friends for an agreed-upon fee of $43,706.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Pagar in his court documents claims Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, violated the terms by shooting a music video at the abode instead, which included about 40 people, including a film crew.<br>Pagar said that when he confronted the rapper at the December 2, 2020 shoot, he was thrown to the ground by an associate of the rapper identified in court docs as DOE 1.<br>As seen in a video trending on <a href="https://twitter.com/i/status/1367107668758962179">Twitter</a>, about 30 people were on hand at the time of the incident. Pagar says no one came to his aid amid the onslaught from his much-larger attacker.<br>As the attack was going on the entertainer was seen in a nearby red convertible in the clip.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He told the court DaBaby &#8216;sucker-punched&#8217; him in the face in a &#8216;cowardly and despicable act,&#8217; bloodying him and knocking out his tooth. <br>Pagar said after he contacted authorities, DaBaby and his associates &#8216;fled the scene leaving behind a damaged house and stealing valuable kitchenware as they left.&#8217;<br>Pagar is asking for $117,910.48 in damages for the incident, as he said the upholstery and floor on the property were also defaced, a sculpture was broken and garbage was all over the place.</p>
