Police performing a welfare check discovered the bodies of two adults and two children inside this home in Avon Lake, Ohio, on Tuesday. All four victims have been found shot to death inside the residence

Police in Suburban Ohio are investigating an apparent triple murder-suicide, in which they suspect a man shot and killed his wife, their two young sons as well as the family dog, before turning the gun on himself.
The bodies were found at around 1.15pm on Tuesday when officers arrived at an address in the 32000 block of English Turn in Avon Lake to conduct a welfare check. 
On Wednesday the deceased family members were identified as Jeffrey Hull, 50, his wife Heidi Hull, 46 along witheir two sons Garrett Hull, nine, and Grant Hull, six. The family dog was also killed.  
The Avon Lake Police Department said the responding officers ‘observed a suspicious condition inside the residence and requested that detectives respond.’ on arrival officers said, the front door was locked, but they saw the victims when they looked through the home’s back windows. 

The alleged shooter’s wife, Heidi Hull worked as operations senior vice president with FM Global, a commercial property insurer. her colleagues requested the police welfare check after she failed to turn up for a conference call. Cops believe her husband shot her along with their two sons before turning the gun on himself

Officers and detectives entered the suburban home, where they found four members of the Hull family and their pet dead from gunshot wounds.
It is not clear when the shootings occurred or what prompted the violence, but authorities believe Jeffrey Hull shot and killed his family before turning the gun on himself. 
Authorities have disclosed that Heidi Hull’s colleague sought the welfare check after she missed a conference call on Tuesday.

Police believe the adults and children died as a result of a murder-suicide. A crime scene unit vehicle was seen outside the home as cops investigated the fatal shooting of the family of four on Tuesday afternoon 

Heidi Hull worked as operations senior vice president with FM Global, a commercial property insurer. She was recognized by Business Insurance magazine as a ‘2020 Woman to Watch.’ 
A native of Maine, Hull graduated from Purchase College SUNY in 1999 and had worked for FM Global for more than 20 years. 
It has been reported that she moved her family to Avon Lake in 2017 when she was promoted to Cleveland operations manager.  
Police say they had no history of calls to the home. Avon Lake police are investigating the deaths along with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

One neighbor called the deadly incident ‘shocking.’ . 
‘It’s a great neighborhood, all families, a ton of kids, always kids out here playing every night I walk through here,’ she said.
‘I’m in disbelief, I can’t imagine what the family was going through, what could have happened or what the family was dealing with.’ 
Avon Lake City Schools Superintendent Robert Scott on Tuesday released a statement to parents, revealing that the two deceased children, named by the police as brothers Garrett and Grant Hull, were students at Erieview Elementary School.
