Six people who were found dead in a Milwaukee home on Sunday were shot dead in an ‘execution style’ mass killing and three of the victims were due to testify at an upcoming murder trial, police have revealed.
The bodies were found in a home on North 21st Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Sunday afternoon.
After concerned relatives called, police performed a welfare check and inside, they discovered home owner Donald Smith, 43, his brother Donta Williams, 44, and Donta’s wife Michelle Williams, 49. Other residents of the home also murdered include Caleb Jordan, 23, Javoni Liddell, 31, and 42-year-old Charles Hardy.
It’s unclear how Jordan, Liddell and Hardy are related to the brothers.

Police were called to the home about 3:45 p.m. Sunday for a welfare check.
Officers initially found five victims. During the course of the investigation, police found a sixth person dead inside the home, a police spokesperson said earlier this week.
Sources indicated investigators had not fully determined if the six were killed the day they were found or at an earlier date.
During a news conference on Thursday, Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman disclosed that in the course of the investigations detectives discovered a woman called 911 about 12 hours before the victims were found and claimed to be the victim of a shooting.
The 911 caller said there were also several other victims and gave two locations which were not the home where six were discovered, Norman said. Cops responded to the two locations the caller provided, but they did not find any victims. However, investigators tracked down the 911 caller and she was not injured the chief said.
Her connection to the killings remains under investigation.
Police will not say who, but three of the victims were due to testify as witnesses at a murder trial in Milwaukee County. Police say they are investigating whether or not it was a revenge execution to stop them from testifying at the trial.

The victims’ families have revealed that they were killed ‘execution style’ inside the home and that police told them multiple shooters were involved.
‘We were told that it was execution-style,’ Tiffany Cole-Whittington, the cousin of Michelle Williams, told WISN.
The families say they are at a loss over how who could have carried out the killing.
‘I would never think this would happen to my family,’ Ronald Smith, the brother of two of the victims – Donald Smith and Donta Williams – told FOX earlier this week.
He said his brother Donald lived in the home and ‘took in’ people.
‘He took people in when they don’t have a place to go. I don’t know why somebody would do this to them. I don’t.’
