<p>Three young sisters in California aged nine, ten and 13 were shot and killed by their drug addict father at the California church where he was living. Before he turned the gun on himself he also gunned down a fourth victim in a Sacramento church.<br>David Fidel Mora-Rojas, 39, was on a supervised visit with his three children at the church on Monday afternoon when he lost his mind and killed his children and committed suicide. <br>The Sacramento County Coroner&#8217;s Office on Tuesday identified David Mora-Rojas&#8217; victims as Samarah Mora Gutierrez, 9, Samantha Mora Gutierrez, 10, and 13-year-old Samia Mora Gutierrez. <br>The horrific attack started at around 5.10pm on Monday when officers were called to the &#8216;The Church in Sacramento&#8217; in the Arden Mall area of the city. <br>Mora-Rojas also shot and killed Nathaniel Kong, 59, who was an executive at The Church in Sacramento. Kong was chaperoning the three sisters to the visit because the girls&#8217; mom &#8211; Mora-Rojas&#8217; ex-girlfriend &#8211; had obtained a restraining order against him</p>

<p>The shooting happened in the main room of the small church. <br> Multiple people were killed in a shooting on Monday at a church in the Arden-Arcade area of California&#8217;s capital of Sacramento, early on Monday evening CBS13 television reported, citing the Sacramento Metro Fire department. <br>A father killed four, shooting three of his children and a middle aged man during a supervised visit, before killing himself at the church in Sacramento. Police sources said the fourth victim in the shooting, identified as a 59-year-old Nathaniel Kong, was chaperoning the visit.<br>Emergency services were alerted after an employee at the church who was upstairs heard gunshots and called 911.<br>On Tuesday, the Natomas Unified School District announced that they had learned the three children attended Bannon Creek and Leroy Greene Academy.</p>

<p>Sgt. Rod Grassman from the city&#8217;s sheriff&#8217;s office said he did not know if the family members belonged to the the church, which sits on a mostly residential block near a commercial area east of downtown Sacramento, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://sacramento.cbslocal.com/" target="_blank">CBS13 </a>reported.<br>The church is known to hold Bible study classes for children and teens, although none were scheduled for Monday. <br>So far, a possible motive for the shooting had not been released but the sheriff&#8217;s office said it was a case of domestic violence. <br>Officials said Mora-Rojas was under a restraining order from his longtime girlfriend Illeana Gutierrez Rios, and not supposed to have a gun, which he used to shoot his three daughters, their chaperone and himself at 5pm on Monday. </p>

<p>It was also revealed Tuesday that five days before killing his daughters and then turning the gun on himself, the shooter, David Fidel Mora Rojas, had been arrested in Merced County on suspicion of assaulting an officer and drunk driving, among other charges. <br>Sacramento County court records show that his ex, Illeana Gutierrez Rios, filed for a domestic violence restraining order in May against Mora, her then-boyfriend. <br>The court granted the order for five years and allowed a mutual friend and member of the church to serve as chaperone for Mora’s supervised visits with the couple’s three children due to his “mental instability,” according to court records. <br>The mutual friend and supervisor was identified Tuesday as the slain church executive Nathaniel Kong.</p>

<p>Gutierrez Rios warned the court that Mora-Rojas was dangerous, and she had fought for a restraining order for the girls as well, but the court ultimately granted him supervised visitations on weekends. <br>“I have moved out of the house with the children because I am afraid of [Mora] and concerned [for] my safety and the safety of my children,” she said in court documents. <br>&#8216;Mora-Rojas had been abusive for a decade and had choked her, pushed her, thrown things at her and threatened to kill her,&#8217; Gutierrez Rios said in court documents, adding that Mora said “he has not killed me because he would not know where to go with the children”. <br>After one argument in April she had called authorities when he became aggressive and threatened suicide. <br>Their daughters had witnessed the argument, Gutierrez Rios told the court: “They were scared and crying,” she said.<br><br></p>
