<p>The parents of a missing teenager, Chloe Campbell, are pleading with her friends to come forward with more information after she vanished from a high school football game<br>Chloe, 14, disappeared on September 30 after being spotted at Boulder High School, in Colorado, and was last seen looking &#8216;drunk&#8217; on Boulder Creek Trail. She reportedly, was last seen in the company of with two &#8216;older sketchy men.&#8217;<br>The teen went despite her family raising the alarm ten days ago. Her family who are feeling that authorities have not given her case adequate attention recently appealed tor her friends to speak to law enforcement about the missing teen, saying they &#8216;know more than they&#8217;ve shared.&#8217; <br>The sense of urgency appears to have percolated to Boulder police who are now calling for anyone with information about the missing schoolgirl to come forward, nearly a fortnight later. <br>BPD have been slammed by the local community for branding the teenager as a &#8216;runaway&#8217; despite there being no indication that the she had fled her home previously. <br>They have now launched an appeal saying that she might be &#8216;in danger&#8217;, but say that the case doesn&#8217;t &#8216;meet the criteria for the issuance of an Amber Alert.&#8217; </p>

<p>Chloe&#8217;s family fear that she may have been trafficked, and have received multiple tips that their daughter is currently 600 miles away in Arizona &#8211; adding they are pleased that police are &#8216;finally&#8217; taking the case seriously. <br>Her father David Campbell said: ‘We want to make clear that we do not have any family in Arizona so this is very suspicious to us.&#8217; <br>David claims they received an ominous photo from an anonymous Snapchat account, which proves that she is still alive, but said that she looked ‘injured and unwell.’ </p>

<p>The family of the teenager received a sinister photo from an anonymous Snapchat profile which showed Chloe looking &#8216;injured and unwell&#8217;, and they are concerned that she is being held against her will. <br>Her parents, Dr. Jessica Knape and David Campbell, are both appealing for anyone with information about their daughter to come forward as they say police are &#8216;finally&#8217; taking the case seriously. On September 30, Chloe was spotted at Boulder High School around lunchtime with two &#8216;older&#8217; men.<br>She was then seen at the Boulder High vs. Fairview football game, with the same two &#8216;sketchy&#8217; individuals.<br>Witnesses claim that she was later seen on Boulder Creek Trail looking &#8216;intoxicated at around 6pm.<br>Her family reported her missing to Boulder Police Department, who treat the case as a &#8216;runaway&#8217;. <br>Fast forward ten days later to October 8,<strong> </strong>authorities in Boulder issued an update after pressure from Chloe&#8217;s family and the community, appealing for information about her whereabouts. <br>They say that she could be &#8216;in danger&#8217; though they have not been able to confirm if messages purporting to be from Chloe are legitimate. <a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank"></a><br>It is the only communication the family have received, from someone they believe is a &#8216;third party&#8217; pretending to be their daughter &#8211; adding that the profile ‘could be anybody.’ </p>

<p>Her family received the picture from a Snapchat account claiming to be from Chloe, but the name is one they are unfamiliar with. <br>They believed that their daughter is being kept against her will, but the case is understood to not be a ransom. <br>Several friends have also reportedly received messaged from the missing girl, with communications on Snapchat vanishing immediately after they are opened. <br>Her parents fear that her friends or other young teenagers are keeping information from authorities out of fear for their own safety.</p>

<p>Chloe&#8217;s family believe that other teenagers have been reticent out of fear for their own safety. and<br>Her parents David Campbell and her mother Jessica Knape Romo, who claim that the claim they have been told she has been taken more than 600 miles away to Arizona, have engaged the services of private investigators in the search for their daughter.<br>They added that their daughter has several underlying physical and mental health conditions, and fear she has been kept away from her medication for too long. ;<br>In a statement they said: ;After 10 days, our beloved 14 year old daughter, Chloe Campbell, is still missing. ;<br>&#8216;While we are grateful that the Boulder Police Department and news sources are finally taking this case seriously, broadening the call for help and legitimizing the situation, we remain gravely concerned that she may be being trafficked and is not able to voluntarily come home. ;<br>&#8216;We have no credible communication from Chloe herself in 10 full days, and we believe there are still friends who know more than they have shared with law enforcement.&#8217;</p>

Older men. Too old to be in high school. One of whom was Asian and the other who had a beard.<br>‘This was around lunchtime at Boulder High and also a football game, these two men are described as being sketchy.<br>‘We have had multiple tips from various parties claiming that they have knowledge that Chloe is in Arizona, that she is “safe” and “has money” and is with a “family” in Arizona. </p>

<p><br>‘The pushback that we got from both Boulder High and Boulder police saying hey it’s no big deal she’s just a runaway was frustrating, but we never stopped investigating.’<br>Her mother described her as ‘vivacious and funny’, adding that they would use ‘every resource in this planet’ to bring her home safe and sound.#<br>Boulder Police confirmed that no one has spoken to Chloe since September 30, ten days ago, adding that, ‘Investigators have received some information from friends who appear to have been in contact with Chloe, and there have been a few reported sightings of her in and around the Boulder area.<br>‘However, no one in her family has spoken with Chloe since Sept. 30.<br>‘Friends have received messages that they believe could be from Chloe saying she is safe with a “family” in Arizona and does not want to return home, but family and police have been unable to confirm if these messages are, in fact, from Chloe or true.</p>

Boulder Police are now calling for anyone with information about the missing schoolgirl to come forward, saying she might be ‘in danger’ despite initially dismissing the case as a ‘runaway’.<br>‘This case presently does not meet the criteria for the issuance of an Amber Alert, but investigators are growing increasingly concerned about the teen’s safety as it is believed that she has no access to money or her medication.
