A Chicago woman accused of murdering and dismembering the owner of a rooming house in Chicago, it is alleged, also tried to kill a neighbor earlier this year – and even a sang a chilling song while she was doing it.
A woman who lived in the same Chicago boarding house as Sandra Kolalou said the 36-year-old cornered her in a stairwell, then knocked her to the ground, got on top and began strangling her.
The woman claimed Kolalou tried to shove an inhaler down her throat and was singing ‘I’m a doctor, I can kill you. I’m a doctor, I can help you,’ throughout the altercation, according to WKRG.
Kolalou was arrested last week for allegedly murdering 69-year-old Frances Walker, the owner of that boarding house.

Walker was in the process of evicting Kolalou over complaints of frightening behavior from neighbors.
The suspect allegedly dismembered Walker’s body with a butcher’s knife and stored her remains in a freezer. She is also believed to have the homeowner’s dog.
Kolalou’s neighbor who chose to remain anonymous described her harrowing encounter from last January: ‘She got on top of me, she put her hand over my nose, squeezed it shut,’ the woman told WKRG.
She ‘Put her other hand over my mouth, closed it shut. Tried to kill me.’
The woman suffers from asthma, and had just taken out her inhaler before she ran into Kolalou, who tried to push the device down her mouth.

She said she managed to bite Kolalou’s hand and get away. ‘I had one breath left and I bit what I thought was her hand.
‘What I ended up biting was her finger,’ she said, describing how she was able to then call for help.
‘[Officers] tried to get her up off the floor, tried to take her away. Which they eventually did, taking her to a psychiatric hospital.’
After that incident Kolalou was charged with assault, but acquitted over the summer, according to WKRG.
Kolalou was arrested Monday after neighbors called police to report they had heard screaming at the boarding house and that nobody had been able to get in contact for hours.
When officers arrived at the house they found Kolalou stepping into a tow truck she had hired. When officers asked to speak with her she declined saying she knew her rights.
Kolalou then directed the tow truck driver to take her to nearby beach, where she dumped a large plastic bag in a trash bin.

She then tried to pay the driver with a card belonging to Walker, and when the driver declined she became irate and tried to attack him with a pocket knife.
Kolalou was apprehended after the altercation and cop found bloody rags in the bin at the beach.
They then found Walker’s body stuffed into a freezer.
Cops said Walker had tried to evict Kolalou over the weekend after multiple tenants had expressed that they were afraid of her.
Kolalou has been charged with first-degree murder and concealment of a homicide.
