Evidence in saga of a senseless New York murder includes security footage that captured the moment the pregnant woman was ambushed in her car by three gunmen and shot dead in Queens on Tuesday night.
The victim who has been identified as 28-year-old Clarisa Burgo, died after being shot once in the head, hours after she’d taken her four-year-old son out for a fun evening. 
The other occupant of the car, a 39-year-old man, was also shot, but the injured man still managed to drive to a nearby police station after the shooting in a desperate attempt to get help. 

Police do not believe Clarisa Burgos, [photo], described as doting mother to her young son, was the target of the attack. Her male companion, who was injured in the attack has a29 arrest record, cops said sedan

Three men eventually approached and fired several shots at car ferrying Burgos and her yet to be identified companion, according to PIX11 News
In the video, the driver tries to speed away from the assailants, as one of the suspects runs in front of the vehicle and fire more shots at the pair.
The three male suspects then run away after the black Honda sedan stalls out in the middle of the street, before it starts to pull away. According to some accounts about 20 shots that sounded like a ‘semi-automatic’ rifle fire was heard.

    The unidentified male driver, although hit six times in the chest, still managed to drive up to the 103rd precinct station in Queens seeking help. 
    Now the family of Burgos, who leaves behind a four-year-old son, is desperate for answers.
    ‘We want to know what the hell happened,’ her aunt Clover Gallart told Gothamist at the family’s Brooklyn apartment. 
    ‘Why? Why is there another child without his mother?’ asked Gallart, who said she and her sister Sonia raised Burgos.
    Burgos’ sister Julia said she didn’t knew neither her traveling companion nor where she’d gone on the night. She left home Tuesday night after taking her son out for a movie, ice skating and pizza. She described her sister as a doting mother: ‘She wanted her son to have the world,’ Julia said.
    ‘Zoos, aquariums, parks, everywhere. Anything he wanted to do. He had every bike that was out.’

        A man who had been shot six times drove her to a Queens police station trying to seek help. His passenger, Clarisa Burgos, who was shot once in the head, was declared dead outside the police station. Shooting took place in the Richmond Hill neighborhood on Tuesday night

        ‘She was so full of life, looking forward to getting older,’ Gallart added. 
        The driver was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. 
        Now, police are investigating the shooting and working to identify suspects.
        Multiple gunmen reportedly opened fire on the car, injuring the driver who then raced to a nearby NYPD station in a failed attempt to save the fatally wounded woman in his passenger seat. 
        The injured man pulled up to the 103 Precinct station house in Queens Tuesday night shortly before midnight, alerting officers to the harrowing incident, police said Wednesday. 
        Officers recovered shell casings from .45 caliber and 9mm, a total of 16, from the crime scene. 
        The injured driver has 29 arrests on his record, according to police. 
        Police are still searching for the suspects and say they are seeking two to three men wearing dark clothing who are believed to have fled in a dark-colored sedan.

          The Burgos’ male companion who was at the wheel, was rushed by medics to Jamaica Hospital with six gunshot wounds. He is listed in stable condition

          No arrests have been made. The motive of the shooting remains under investigation, but police do not believe Burgos was the intended target.
