<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A thrill seeking teen who has been charged with murdering his neighbor in her hot tub allegedly told police in Houston, Texas, that he wanted to feel &#8216;what it was like to stab someone.&#8217;<br>The 15-year-old boy is accused of killing Dana Magnuson, 62, at her Hockley home. <br>Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez announced Monday that an arrest had been made in the case. The 15-year-old been charged with Magnuson&#8217;s murder.<br>The teen suspect, who has not been identified due to his age, was arrested nine days after Magnuson&#8217;s body was discovered in her shed on July 20. The mother-of-three is survived by her sons, Zach and Tyler.<br>&#8216;I&#8217;m just numb,&#8217; Tyler Pitney said. <br>&#8216;The way my mom was murdered in cold blood makes me feel some type of way I can’t even describe.&#8217;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Investigators believe the assailant attacked Magnuson in the hot tub before the fight moved to her home and ultimately her shed. <br>&#8216;There was still blood everywhere,&#8217; Pitney told <a class="" href="https://www.fox26houston.com/news/dana-magnuson-murder-arrest" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">FOX 26</a>, adding that the boy was known to his mom and used to help her with gardening chores.<br>Once under arrest, he told detectives that he wanted to see what it felt like to stab someone, sources told <a class="" href="https://abc13.com/post/hockley-15-year-old-suspect-accused-attacking-neighbor-hot-tub-before-death/15129908/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ABC 13</a>.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He is currently being held at the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center. <br>Magnuson was a school bus driver and an avid marathon runner. She was described as a loving mother by her eldest son.<br>&#8216;My mom is the most beautiful person, both inside and out. Anyone that knows her will tell you the same thin,&#8217; Pitney said in a tribute post. <br>&#8216;My goal in life was to buy my mom her dream home and never have her work another day in her life.<br>&#8216;My mom is the best mom ever and if you had the pleasure to ever meet her or call her your friend then you know what I mean. She’s an angel and always has been.&#8217;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The tragedy is the second to hit Pitney&#8217;s family, after they lost his brother Gage to suicide.<br>Pitney and his other brother Zach have since set up a<a class="" href="https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-zach-and-tyler-after-tragic-loss" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> fundraiser </a>to help with funeral costs.<br>&#8216;My mom, my best friend, my rock, my everything-was found brutally murdered in the backyard of her own home while she was gardening,&#8217; Pitney wrote. <br>&#8216;She left behind her two sons, her beloved dog, Mickey, and SO many other friends and people that loved her.&#8217; <br>The GoFundMe has currently raised $2,642 toward its $25,000 goal. </p>
