The husband of missing San Antonio realtor Suzanne Simpson has been charged with her murder just hours after their daughter made a shocking accusation.
Suzanne Clark Simpson, 51, was last seen on October 6 in Olmos Park, a suburb of the Texas city, after reportedly fighting with Brad Simpson, her husband of 22 years. 
On Thursday afternoon, Brad Simpson, 53, was formally charged after he was taken from Bexar County Jail by officers and interviewed. He was later returned to the jail. 
According to the arrest affidavit reportedly, is to remain sealed for the next 30 days. 
Their daughter, 20-year-old Chandler Simpson, had spoken out on social media, claiming that her mother was abused by her father, and that he ‘took my mother’s life in a state of rage and control’.  The younger Simpson claimed that he ‘took my mother’s life in a state of rage and control’. 
In her post, Chandler said: ‘In our community, this should not be happening, and I will not stop speaking as the voice of my mother until she is found.
‘As my mother’s daughter I will tell our story over and over again. With every breath, I will make sure you remember her name. 
‘Suzanne Simpson was a victim of abuse and a victim of this community. Beyond being a victim, she was a phenomenal mother, hardworking, driven, loving and kind.’

Mother-of-four, Suzanne Clark Simpson Simpson, 51, vanished screaming from her $1.5 million mansion in the city’s ritzy Olmos Park area at 11pm on Sunday October 6. She had been fighting with Brad Simpson, her husband of 22 years.
Weeks later, wealthy realtor Brad Simpson, 53, was arrested and held over the disappearance.
After he was arrested Simpson would not cooperate with police and was held on a $2 million bond.

Chandler Simpson in her post said: ‘In our community, this should not be happening, and I will not stop speaking as the voice of my mother until she is found. I will forever represent all victims of domestic abuse and assault.’  
‘As my mother’s daughter I will tell our story over and over again. With every breath, I will make sure you remember her name. Suzanne Simpson was a victim of abuse and a victim of this community. Beyond being a victim, she was a phenomenal mother, hardworking, driven, loving and kind,’ she added.
Chandler’s post continued: ‘Those who choose to remain silent are choosing to blind themselves from domestic violence in our homes.
‘My mother tried to leave my father and lost her life. Shame on my community for not speaking about domestic violence.’

Suzanne Clark and Brad Simpson were married for 22 years. They shared four children and lived in a multi-million dollar home. However, the children have spoken out about physical abuse in the marriage before their mom vanished

Simpson was arrested three days after his wife disappeared and originally charged with unlawful restraint and assault causing bodily injury.
He was also later charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and ultimately charged with tampering/fabricating physical evidence. 
Suzanne was last seen outside of their ritzy $1.5 million home, before the couple walked towards a nearby bushland, where a neighbor heard screams. 
She hasn’t been seen since, with officers in the area searching extensively for her remains. 

The couple shared four children, including daughters, Chandler [left], and Chelsea [right). Chelsea posted a heartfelt tribute to her mother after a month since her disappearance. Chandler accused her dad of taking ‘mother’s life in a state of rage and control’

It has since emerged that Simpson had sent frantic text messages to his friend and business partner James Valle Cotter, telling him: ‘I don’t have much time’. 
Cotter has been charged with one count of tampering with evidence after police discovered an AK-47 inside the wall of his home. 
Police allege Cotter helped Simpson hide a weapon that could be tied to his wife’s disappearance.
According to an arrest affidavit, Simpson text Cotter the day after formally reporting Suzanne missing, writing: ‘If you’re in Bandera, can you haul ass to meet me at your house?’
‘I don’t have much time,’ the initial text read, according to KENS5.
A secondary text allegedly read: ‘Sorry for the urgency but you’re all I got especially now… social media is destroying me.’

Authorities in Texas say his wife, who worked for Nix Realty Company, disappeared after attending a party at The Argyle in the Alamo Heights neighborhood.

That neighbor claims he saw Simpson hitting and restraining his wife, before they both wandered off to a nearby wooded area.
Shortly after that interaction, the neighbor alleges he heard screams from the woods before Simpson was allegedly seen driving away in his truck.
In the affidavit for his arrest warrant, it was revealed that he called his brother, Barton, after Suzanne vanished and ‘apologized for all the problems he had caused.’
The affidavit also revealed the couple’s youngest child told staff at school ‘that her mom and dad were ‘fighting’.
She told staff that ‘her dad had hit her mom in the face and possibly pushed her into a wall’.

Police appeared to reach a conclusion after a failed attempt last month at recovery the remains of the missing woman, by searching a landfill site in San Antonio where they say ‘there is a good chance’ of finding her 

The child added that ‘her mom had a bruise on her elbow and that her dad had taken her mom’s cell phone away’.
His murder charge came just hours after Chandler Simpson on social media, alleged that her mother was abused by her father.
Suzanne’s mother, Barbara Clark, also revealed the haunting phone call with her daughter just an hour before she was last seen. Speaking at a vigil set up to honor Suzanne at Lourdes Grotto, Clark said: ‘She called me up and told me things Brad had done to her physically.’
Clark said Suzanne confided in her that about 9pm that night, October 6, Simpson had injured her arm and her back.
