<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Miss Universe Argentina who placed 12th in the 2024 edition of the global contest lost her national crown after claiming the competition was ‘always fixed, every year,’ while bashing a few of her fellow contestants, including the winner. <br>30-year-old Magalí Benejam has been stripped of her crown after she appeared on a live stream and claimed that the 2024 Miss Universe pageant was rigged in favor of the eventual winner, Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig. The reigning queen in Argentina made the controversial comments during a recent <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2CTtS3HZ6o">live YouTube broadcast</a> with content creator King Lucho.<br>Now ousted, Benejam who is from the city of Córdoba in the northern part of Argentina, suggested the final results were questionable and hinted that the entire extravaganza was fake.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">21-year-old Victoria Kjær Theilvig won the title and became the first blonde to wear the crown since Australia&#8217;s Jennifer Hawkins won in 2004. was the first blonde Miss Universe to be crowned in 20 years. <br>Commenting on the outcome, Benejam said, &#8220;When they announced the Top 5, I saw the judges looking at each other in [strange] ways,&#8217; Benejam said. <br>&#8220;They started looking at each other as if to say, ‘This is not what we chose, this is not what I chose.’ That&#8217;s what it felt like from the outside, and that&#8217;s where I said, ‘OK, this is fixed.’ It was always fixed, every year,&#8221; she added. <br><a href="https://www.latintimes.com/miss-universe-argentina-stripped-her-title-after-implying-possible-fraud-pageant-571411" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Latin Times</a> also reports that Benejam accused Miss Denmark of having three security guards with her, which further fueled speculation over her victory. <br>Um, who was going to beat up Miss Denmark? Were Miss Universe contestants going to gang up against her, hence the security. </p>
