Colorado widow sues Palazzo owners two years after her husband was found unresponsive in his room from ‘fentanyl overdose’ after encounter with prostitute while staying at the famous Vegas hotel

A widow is suing a famous Las Vegas hotel after her husband who was in town for a convention died at the establishment during an encounter with a prostitute. 
Jennifer Jacoby has filed a lawsuit against the owners after husband Jeff Jacobs, 55, died of a fentanyl overdose at The Palazzo during a stay there on March 1, 2023.
Jacoby who had three children with Jennifer, traveled from his home in Colorado to Vegas for a work conference when he met 23-year-old sex worker Cheylee Kessee at the hotel bar at 1am.  
Kessee, worked the Palazzo and Venetian hotels in the company of a pimp named Kashon Glass. She was seen walking around the resort’s casino floor with Jeff for 40 minutes.

The woman in the hotel room with Jeff Jacoby when he died was identified as Cheylee Kessee, [photo], a sex worker. Cause of death was established as a fentanyl overdose. She was later jailed for 20 years for manslaughter 

Las Vegas Pimp Kashon Glass [photo] helped the prostitute to rob Jeff Jacoby after his death. He was later jailed for 50 years for manslaughter 

The pair then headed to a cashier’s cage, where Jacoby withdrew $1,000, with Glass following behind according to the lawsuit.  The pair went up to his his hotel room around 2.30 am. Kessee was seen emerging from the again just eight minutes later.
In December 2023, Cheylee Kessee and Kashon Glass, then 37, who were accused of of giving Jeffrey Jacoby a lethal dose of fentanyl on March, were indicted on charges of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, robbery, grand larceny, residential burglary, administering a drug to aid in a felony, four counts of conspiracy, and drug possession.
Glass faced two additional drug possession charges and a weapons charge.

Jennifer, who described Jeff as her ‘soulmate’ and ‘twin flame’ in his obituary, grew worried when she hadn’t heard from her husband a few hours later.
She contacted contacted the hotel several hours later for a welfare check because he had not responded to her messages. 
Hotel staff the found Jacoby unresponsive and ‘slumped on the bathroom floor.’
It was confirmed that he had died of a fentanyl overdose and had been been robbed by Kessee.

Jennifer and her daughter’s have now sued the Palazzo’s owners Venetian Casino Resort LLC and claim they’re partly to blame for Jeff’s death. 
The suit alleges that Palazzo security guards should have warned Jeff that while he was chatting with Kessee, he was being followed by her pimp, Kashon Glass.
The duo had a history of ‘targeting hotel guests to rob and victimize them’ that casino operators were well aware of that trend, according to the suit.  

Cheylee Kessee, [mugshot], was jailed for 20 years. She will be eligible for parole after serving eight years

In the face of the multiple charges Glass and Kessee eventually pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter, robbery with use of a deadly weapon and burglary in relation to the case.
In keeping with the plea deal, after both admitted to voluntary manslaughter and robbery, Glass was jailed for 50 years. He qualifies to apply for paroled after serving a minimum of 20 years.
Kessee who was sentenced to 20 years, qualifies to apply for parole after serving eight years. 
The amount in damages that the lawsuit filed by Jacobys is seeking from the owners of The Palazzo has not been specified.
