<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A married Ohio woman will spend the rest of her life locked up in jail after she was convicted of raping an infant. Last week a jury in Summit County convicted Kristina Jacobson of Akron, near Cleveland.<br>On June 12, the 39-year-old pled guilty to one count of rape, two counts of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, and one count of gross sexual imposition, according to a <a href="https://prosecutor.summitoh.net/news/32444/only_pdf/6.12.2025-kristina-jacobson-verdict-release.pdf">news release </a>from the county prosecutor’s Office.<br>The judge ordered Kristine to register as a Tier III sex offender, furthermore she will not be given the possibility of parole. <br>Kristina Jacobson abused an innocent child’s vulnerability and inability to defend or advocate for herself,&#8217; Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich said in a statement detailing the nature of the crime,<br>&#8216;There is simply no excuse for this abhorrent crime.&#8217; </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kristina&#8217;s husband, Scott Jacobson, 45, in an earlier decision was also <a href="https://prosecutor.summitoh.net/news/32242/only_pdf/scott-jacobson-sentence-110124.pdf">sentenced to life in prison</a> without parole for raping two children. He was sentenced in November after pleading guilty in August, 2024, the prosecutor revealed. <br>Scott Jacobson was found guilty on two counts of gross sexual imposition, two counts of rape and 10 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, which state law defines a crime that involves material showing a minor involved in sexual activity, according to prosecutors.</p>
