The remains believed to be the missing girl was discovered last week by officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responding to reports of a foul odor coming from the vehicle.
The odor led to finding a decomposing body in a bag stashed in the trunk of an impounded Tesla that had been sitting in the impound lot for days. The vehicle had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills area, five days earlier.
It had Texas plates registered to David Anthony Burke, a 20-year-old pop star better known by his industry name D4vd.
