Police in Araucaria, a city in the southern Brazilian state of Parana arrested a man, 51, accused of keeping his stepdaughter imprisoned as a sex slave for 22 years, ending up having three children with the victim, now 29

This is the moment armed cops burst into a condominium to arrest a stepfather accused of keeping his stepdaughter imprisoned as a sex slave for 22 years and selling her to other men as well.
A 29-year-old woman, who remains unnamed, went to police in Araucaria, a city in the southern Brazilian state of Parana, on Tuesday, September 16, to file a report accusing her stepfather of holding her against her will as a sex slave for 22 years.
She also leveled trafficking charges against her tormentor, claiming he sold her to other men as well.
Virtually held a prisoner, the victim was only able to seek help after more than two decades with the ruse of telling the 51-year-old suspect, also not named, that she needed to take her three children to a health clinic. Instead went directly to a Civil Police station.
Police chief Eduardo Kruger said woman had been abused since the age of seven.
She was first pregnant for her stepdad at 15. Now separated from the mother, he forced his stepdaughter into a relationship.Investigators said she had three children with him.
The father also forced his daughter to have sex with other men, with the assaults reportedly recorded on video.
‘He forced me to pretend that I wanted it, but the men knew I was being forced there. I lost count. There were more than 30. These episodes happened every two months, every three months,’ the woman told cops.

Victim escaped by telling her jailer that her children needed to visit a health clinic. While she was giving her statement, he called her more than 30 times and sent over 15 audio messages, some containing threats. Cops then visited the his condominium to place him in custody

The suspect monitored his alleged victim’s every move with surveillance cameras installed throughout the house and rarely allowed her to leave, police said. 
The woman said of her ordeal: ‘I was scared, very scared, I still am. He said a lot of things to me. He threatened me. He said that if I wasn’t his, I wouldn’t be anyone else’s. He said that our separation would only mean death.’
While she was giving her statement, he called her more than 30 times and sent over 15 audio messages.
Some of the threats read: ‘Go home, otherwise you’re going to have serious problems with me. What’s going on? Talk to me, otherwise I’m coming after you.’
When the suspect was arrest at his condominium, police collected evidence including images and videos of the abuse stored on his cameras and mobile phone.
Now held in preventive detention while under investigation for seven crimes, including rape, deprivation of liberty, threats, and psychological violence, the suspect faces combined sentences that could exceed 100 years in prison if convicted as charged.
The victim and her children have been placed in protective custody.
