He blamed his behavior on his sexless marriag, before pleading to be let off, to avoid losing his family and his job

Verity, 37, who is a music teacher at Wading River Elementary School, was suspended from his job Wednesday night after he was caught in a sting operation by a group called ‘Predator Poachers Long Island,’ whose stated aim is to catch would-be perverts in the act.

Confronted by members of the group ‘Predator Poachers,’ Mark Verity, [backing camera], admitted while being recorded that he had a “mega” stash of child porn.

Verity was identified by the group after he sent a photo of himself to the girl’s account, and used AI to locate him before the confrontation. The decoy was actually a 29-year-old group member whose profile was edited with AI to appear younger.
Verity was on his way to meet with his in-laws before being confronted by the group outside of the school that afternoon.
Soon after Verity to admitted on camera that he reached out to the group’s 13-year-old “decoy account,” that he had asked for nude photos and tried to teach a stranger, he assumed was a teenage girl, how to masturbate.
In the recording Verity admits he had pushed to meet up with the child and take her virginity, going as far as talking about what positions they might try in person. He then backtracked and claiming he would’ve never gone through with the child rape.

Verity’s nemesis happened on a day he was allegedly messaging the girl throughout the school day, asking her to “prove” she was not wearing anything under her clothes, according to the live stream. When confronted, he blamed his perversion on his wife and their sex-less marriage

As it happened, Verity was confronted the same day he was allegedly, was messaging the girl throughout the school day, inquiring what she was wearing underneath her “comfortable clothing.” The decoy responds “nothing,” according to the video. Verity allegedly then demanded she “prove it.”
Verity also admitted on camera to previously viewing and possessing bestiality porn depicting ostriches and horses, as well as having access to massive, online databases of child porn though “MEGA” cloud storage.
While the kiddie porn cache allegedly, includes photos and videos of children as young as 8, Verity stated his preference for the “13-16 age range.”
In self-mitigation, he then blamed his perverse past time on his wife. Their sex-less marriage he said, has pushed him into dark corners of the internet to satisfy his needs, even as he admitted his infatuation with children goes back at least 10 years, possibly pre-dating his career teaching minors.

Now outed, Verity pleads with the activist group for forgiveness to avoid losing his job and wife: I love what I do, I love my family. Is there any way I can have a shot?” he asks.
The hour-long encounter ends with The Poachers calling police and Verity taken in for questioning. However, no arrest was made as police continue with their investigation.
