The married former New Jersey teacher accused of sexually assaulting her middle school student also sent him nude photos, according to prosecutors.
Charging documents from her appearance on Friday allege that former middle school teacher, Ashley Fisler, had intercourse with the minor student twice and performed a sex act four times at different locations, including her classroom.
The 36-year-old educator was arrested and charged with child sex abuse Thursday, after a recent visit to Washington Township police by the now-adult victim with allegations of his intimate relationship he shared with his then class teacher.

The alleged abuse happened in 2021, when the complainant was a student in Fisler’s eight grade social studies class at Orchard Valley Middle School in Washington Township, Gloucester County.
At the time Fisler was about 31, while the alleged victim would have been between 13 and 14.
Text exchanges between Fisler and the boy corroborated the details he’d recounted of their trysts, including “multiple nude photographs” of the teacher.
The complainant he told police that he and Fisler engaged in intercourse and oral sex in her car on two occasions. On two other occasions she performed oral sex on him in her classroom.
That classroom appeared to be the same one where her husband proposed in 2018 in front of shocked students, an event that was captured in photos posted on social media.

Following the report Fisler was Interviewed by Washington Township police on March 19. She denied the allegations.
Eventually she was arrested and charged with six counts of first-degree sexual assault of a minor, one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and one count of second-degree official misconduct.
If convicted as charged, the first-degree charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. The second-degree charges carry a maximum of 10 years each.
Fisler’s nine-year career with the Washington Township school district began in 2014. According to Superintendent Eric Hibbs, her employment with the school district ended in April 2023.

The superintendent in a statement emphasized that the district takes “matters involving the safety and well-being of our students extremely seriously,” adding that officials are “fully cooperating with law enforcement” on the matter.
After leaving Orchard Valley, Fisler launched her own apparel company selling unofficial merchandise for the Philadelphia Eagles, according to her business’s Facebook profile.
The same profile states that Ashley also worked as a business administrator for her husband’s landscaping business in Sewell, New Jersey.
Fisler and her husband are still together. However, according to relatives, it is likely he had no clue about the alleged tryst until recently, and wouldn’t stand for that kind of behavior from his wife.

If the allegations are true, “I don’t think he’d stay with her,” his stepbrother said.
“He’s a good, upstanding guy. He has morals and everything — he wouldn’t be the type to stay with her if he found out.
“Especially since this is already making the news, I feel like that’s enough backlash to be like, ‘All right, maybe we shouldn’t be together anymore.’”
Fisler appeared for a brief video court hearing Friday where a judge read her the charges after which she was remanded in custody. She is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing for April 1.
