<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Around 2.15am on Wednesday in Uttar Pradesh&#8217;s Ghaziabad, India, three child sisters jumped to their deaths from the balcony of their ninth-floor home <br>Sisters Pakhi, Prachi and Vishika Kumar, aged 12, 14 and 16, allegedly were upset that their father had taken away their mobile phone.<br>In the early hours of February 4, the sisters gathered at their balcony and bolted the door shut before jumping from the window in turns.<br>Local reports claim their screams were loud enough to wake their parents, neighbors, and security guards at the family&#8217;s apartment complex.<br>But by the time the parents broke down the door, it was too late. <br>&#8216;When we reached the scene, we confirmed that three girls, daughters of Chetan Kumar, had died after jumping from the building,&#8217; said Atul Kumar Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police.<br>Images published by local media captured the bodies of the young girls on the ground outside the building as their mother wailed amidst a crowd of shocked neighbors.</p>

<p class="has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Visuals from their home revealed jottings on a wall in the girls&#8217; bedroom, including: &#8216;I am very very alone&#8217; and &#8216;make me a hert of broken (sic)&#8217;</strong>. <strong> Chetan Kumar, said his daughters had an extreme addiction to the Korean culture. They left a suicide note for their father which in part read:: &#8216;You tried to distance us from Koreans, but now you know how much we love Koreans&#8217;</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There were also conflicting reports that two of the girls may have fallen accidentally while attempting to hold back a third sisters.<br>According to police reports, responding officers found the girls with fatal injuries. Transported to a hospital in Loni, doctors declared all three dead on arrival.<br>During the investigation, the police <a href="https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/ghaziabad-triple-suicide-bharat-city-3-minor-sisters-jump-off-9th-floor-in-ghaziabad-after-parents-object-to-online-gaming-10942380">recovered a diary</a> with an eight-page note detailing their gaming and mobile activities.<br>Investigations are focusing on their suicide note and a diary which contained that note. A mobile phone was also recovered.<br>The sisters were said to be so obsessed with Korean culture &#8211; including movies, music, and TV series &#8211; that they had taken on Korean names.<br>&#8216;For the past few days, they had been denied access to a mobile phone, a restriction that appeared to have affected them,&#8217; said Deputy Commissioner of Police Nimish Patel. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br>&#8220;Is diary me jo kuch bhi likha hai woh sab padh lo kyuki ye sab sach hai (Read everything written in this diary because all of it is true.) Read now. I&#8217;m really sorry. Sorry, Papa,&#8221; the note read. It was accompanied by a hand-drawn crying emoji.<br>The eight-page note was written on the pages of a pocket diary, detailing their mobile activities.<br>Their father, Chetan Kumar, described what appears to be an extreme addiction to the Korean culture.<br>In the purported suicide note the girls had written,&#8221;Papa, sorry, Korea is our life, Korea is our biggest love, whatever you say, we cannot give it up. So we are killing ourselves,&#8221; police said.<br>The note which was addressed to their father also read in part, &#8216;You tried to distance us from Koreans, but now you know how much we love Koreans.&#8217;<br>Visuals from their home revealed jottings on a wall in the girls&#8217; bedroom, including: &#8216;I am very very alone&#8217; and &#8216;make me a hert of broken (sic)&#8217;.<br>The three sisters who reportedly did everything together, including bathing, &#8216;were influenced by Korean culture and have mentioned it in the suicide note,&#8217; according to investigators.<br>Their phone addiction is said to have begun during the COVID-19 pandemic, and became so overpowering that they decided to drop out of school two years ago.</p>
