Distressing new details about the death of 7-year-old William Michael Evans-Ellis were shared by coroner Dr Lakshmi Sammarco at a press conference on Tuesday.

At a press conference, Dr. Sammarco the coroner for Hamilton County, also said that due to the nature of the case they could not rule out that William had been the victim of a sexual assault prior to his death.
The coroner revealed that the youngster had numerous other injuries with too many bruises on his body to count.
Some of the injuries cited include acute fracture of the distal humerus, the lower end of the upper arm bone which forms the elbow joint, which she said would have taken a ‘fair amount of force’.
According to Dr Sammarco, 7-year-old boy had likely been dead for at least day when he was found.
The youngster was found dead inside the home in Oakley on Thursday August 6, after being tortured inside the address, authorities claimed.
Three adults lived in the home, Kaitlin Evans, the boy’s biological mother as well as Kirby Rankin and Nessa Keaney, both transgender women, who according to Hamilton County court records are biological males.
The trio of Kaitlin Evans, Kirby Rankin and Nessa Keaney were co-parenting the youth prosecutors said in court last week after they were arraigned over the death of William.

Prosecutors told the court that there was evidence to show that William was being abused for over two months by the three adults in the home.
Police officers searching the home found the boy dead in a closet, where he had been bound and duct-taped.
Investigators noted that the boy showed visible injuries which ‘indicated physical beatings’ all over his body.
The child also suffered impact injuries to the back of his head and had been water tortured for a period of time and was badly burned, investigators said.
Speaking through her attorney, Evans denies causing the death of her son, shifting the blame to one of her co-defendants. However she has not named either Rankin or Keaney. Speaking through her attorney, Evans admitted in court that she had failed to save her son, while pleading with the judge for a $250,000 bond.
Ultimately, the judge granted prosecution request for a $1 million bond on the murder charge, with a further $500,000 on the child endangerment charge.
The boy’s biological father who was in the gallery confronted his son’s mother in court:”Willie was my life. I trusted you to care for him,” he told Kaitlin sobbing, adding, “They kept him from me for the past nine months over lies.”

A lawyer for Keaney said she had failed to ‘administer treatment’ for the boy’s injuries which were allegedly ’caused by somebody else.’
Her attorney requested a $200,000 bond, prosecutors pushed back saying that Keaney failed to inform the authorities of the abuse. Her bond was set at $1 million.
Attorneys for Rankin requested an evaluation, saying she suffered from ‘documented serious mental health issues’.
The judge agreed, with Rankin to be back in court for the results at the beginning of next month.
A detective who was part of the investigation said that Rankin disclosed her own involvement in the abuse and implicated the two others as being involved.
Her bond was set at $1 million on the murder charge, with another $100,000 secured for the child endangerment charge.
The trio are next back in court on August 17. All of them are on suicide watch inside Hamilton County Jail.
