‘...yes this is a season of anomie, still this sounds like very thin grounds to impugn a prosecutor’s professional record. Maybe she has solid evidence of infraction by the counsel?’

Former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields said her case against Donald Trump’s campaign manager didn’t get a fair shake — because the prosecutor’s wife seems cozy with the Trump family.
“If I was a prosecutor and my wife was trying to monetize her relationship with Donald Trump…I would recuse myself from the case,” Fields said on CNN’s “Reliable Sources” Sunday, in her first interview since the charge was dropped.
Fields accused Trump’s top goon, Corey Lewandowski, of grabbing her arm at a Florida press conference last month — an incident that was caught on camera. Lewandowski was charged with misdemeanor simple battery, and faced up to a year in jail. But Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg announced last week his office dropped the charges, citing “a reasonable hypothesis of innocence.”

Aronberg’s wife, Lynn Aronberg, runs a public relations firm in her own name. The company’s homepage shows photos of her posing next to Donald and Melania Trump at public events. The firm’s Facebook page also has several posts alluding to company events at Trump’s Florida properties.

Lynn Aronberg told the Daily News Trump and his family “have never been clients of mine.”
“I have a number of pictures with clients and non-clients on my website,” she said.

Reporter Michelle Fields posted a picture of bruises she developed after she was allegedly grabbed by Lewandowski at a Florida event in March.

Asked further about her connection to the Trump family, she said, “My statement speaks for itself.”
David Aronberg, a two-term state prosecutor and former state senator, is a Democrat who attended Harvard Law School with Ted Cruz and has donated to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
After charging Lewandowski, Aronberg assured politics would have no bearing on the case, telling reporters: “My political affiliation and my political leanings are all public, but they don’t come inside this office.”

Corey Lewandowski (l.) and Donald Trump have smirked their way through the billionaire’s 2016 campaign.

Prosecutors in Palm Beach officially announced Thursday they were dropping a battery charge against Corey Lewandowski for an alleged assault on former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields.
“I’m thankful for Mr. Trump and his loyalty at this very, very difficult time,” Lewandowski told Fox News host Sean Hannity Thursday night
He called the charge a “huge distraction” to Trump’s campaign, and insisted about the accused assault, “I don’t remember it at all.”
Neither Lewandowski nor the Trump campaign offered an apology to Fields, who said she suffered bruises from Lewandowski’s grab.

Records do not show Trump donating to any of Aronberg’s political campaigns.
Fields posted photos on Twitter showing bruises she said came from Lewandowksi’s grab. Her accusations led to her and several other Breitbart staffers resigning, after the Trump-loving news outlet refused to stand behind its reporter.
Fields told CNN she initially hesitated to go to the police, and only reported the grab after Trump’s camp failed to offer an apology. She said Lewandowski and the Trump campaign still have not given one.
Lewandowski last week called the case “a huge distraction” to Trump’s campaign and said he has no memory of encountering Fields.
