<div id="author-byline">A New York real estate tycoon has been accused of maneuvering to avoid long term involvement in the life of a child he fathered with an aspiring reality-tv star, April Malloy accused real estate mogul, Dan Hollander who is the father of 3 year old son, of faking a paternity test to falsely “prove” that he was not the father of their child. According to her claim, Hollander then tried to paying her to “disappear” after a court-ordered DNA test showed he was, in fact, fathered their son, Job.</div>

<div>Construction firm owner Malloy, claims that after she became pregnant in 2013, Hollander offered to take a DNA swab sample from the baby and make the arrangement for a paternity test, which he then told her had come back negative.</div>

<p>Hollander the owner of DHA Capital, who has made his fortune in Manhattan luxury apartments has vigorously denied this account of events.The aspiring reality-TV star and mother of seven, says that she then assumed that another real estate mogul, Kent Swig, must be the father. Subsequent DNA test proved that Swig is not the father of Job, now 3. However Job, still bears Swig’s last name.<br />
In a follow up, after a court in Pennsylvania ordered a second paternity test in 2014, which proved that Hollander was Job’s father, attorneys representing the newly minted dad, fired off a letter to Malloy offering “a global settlement of all issues relating to paternity, custody and support.”</p>

<p>Malloy claims she was offered a six-figure sum to go away, with the attorneys writing that “in handling cases like this it is my experience that parties often agree to a full and final child-support release in exchange for the relinquishment of all custody rights.”<br />
So far, Hollander’s attorney calls Malloy’s claims “meritless.”<br />
They contend that E-mails between the parties show that Hollander was willing to step up financially for the child, even before a formal agreement had been made in court.<br />
They also say that Hollander has a child-support agreement with Malloy in her native North Carolina, but that she recently filed a new motion for increased child support in New York Family Court.</p>
