<p>Ohanian, 33, of Brooklyn, didn&#8217;t add much more to the news, simply sharing the Reddit link to his Facebook page with three simple words: &#8220;She said yes.&#8221;<br />
The superstar athlete and techie were first reported to be dating back in late October 2015 and have rarely been public with their relationship.<br />
It was reported by <a href="http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/serena-williams-is-dating-alexis-ohanian-the-co-founder-of-reddit-20152810" target="_blank">Us Weekly</a> in October 2015 that Williams had met her new beau at a lunch. It was further reported that the tennis superstar was &#8216;making love part of her routine, bringing her new guy [Alexis Ohanian] to her workout at the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics&#8217;. An onlooker, had observed that “He called her babe and they held hands.”</p>

<p>A public relations employee for Reddit also tweeted the celebratory news.</p>
<p><strong>&#8220;Eeeeeep, so happy for @alexisohanian and @serenawilliams as they start this new adventure together,&#8221; Diana Chow wrote. &#8220;Congrats!&#8221;</strong></p>

<p>Serena&#8217;s fiance is a Brooklyn resident who graduated in history from the University of Virgina in 200. He co-founded Reddit in 2005 with Steve Huffman, but left the website in 2007,only to return full-time in 2015. He also helped launch <a href="https://www.hipmunk.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Hipmunk</a>, a travel search website, and Breadpig, which creates geeky products and donates the proceeds to charity.<br />
Ohanian who also co-founded Initialized Capital published his <a href="http://withouttheirpermission.com/" target="_blank">book</a> titled “Without Their Permission: How the 21st Century Will Be Made, Not Managed” in 2013. His personal credo is “making the world suck less.”</p>
