West Virginia man admits alleged sexual assault in interview to become police officer

Tyler Ray Price, 21, unwittingly exposed his alleged crime in a pre-employment interview with the South Charleston Police Department in February, according to a criminal complaint obtained by WCHS-TV.
The complaint sheet cites that Price revealed to a sergeant in the interview, that he had sex with a woman after a night of drinking. He further stated that he had recorded the was naked and unconscious woman after sex. He also admitted that he still had the footage on his phone.

Police followed up with an interview of the alleged victim, two weeks later. When asked if she consented to sex with Price, she said she did not. She also did not remember having sex with her date, or him recording her. However, the unwitting victim said, Price called her on Feb. 8, the day of his job interview, and confessed to the crime.
The man who had hoped to become an officer of the law is now charged with second-degree sexual assault and faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted. He is currently being held in South Central Regional Jail on a $25,000 bond.
