Carter, 26, was found dead inside a Woodbury home Saturday evening and the Gloucester County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that the mother-of-one died of blunt force trauma, CBS Philly reports.

Shawneeq Carter father, Sean Carter, told ABC 6 t hat it was his daughter’s 5-year-old son and another little boy in the home who made the gruesome discovery Friday night.
“They saw her on the ground and … didn’t know what to do,” he said.
The father said the boys were scared to leave Carter alone but left the home the following day, on Saturday, to get help.
They told authorities they were sleeping and didn’t know what happened.
Investigators said the resident for whom Carter was house-sitting for was out of town when the body was discovered. It’s not clear how the resident knew Carter.
Police have not said whether there were signs of forced entry or if it appeared Carter knew whoever attacked her.
Sean Carter told the outlet he has no idea why his daughter was house-sitting.
So far, no arrests have been made.Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office or the Woodbury Police Department.
