in the early hours of Friday&comma; police sources said&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Saeed Ahmad allegedly&comma; was weaving in and out of traffic on the westbound side of the expressway when his 2007 Infiniti G35 hit the median in the left lane&period; and the car spun out of control  about 4 a&period;m&period;&comma; witnesses told police&period; The car came to rest facing against traffic in the center lane&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;As flames consumed the inside of the car&comma; Ahmad jumped out and ran off&comma; leaving behind his trapped friend&comma; later identified as 25-year-old Harleen Grewal of Astoria&comma; Queens&comma; to perish in the blaze&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Firefighters putting out the fire found Grewal’s charred body in the front passenger seat&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The 23-year-old driver&comma; identified as Saeed Ahmad of East 55th Street&comma; Brooklyn&comma; was seen fleeing the scene leaving Grewel in the vehicle&period; Witnesses saw him flag down a taxi near the scene of the crash&comma; headed to Maimonides Medical Center&comma; police sources said&period; Police located the him at the nearby hospital with burns to his hands and feet&period; He was taken into custody and charged with manslaughter&comma; criminally negligent homicide&comma; leaving the scene of an accident&comma; aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;His arraignment was pending in Brooklyn Criminal Court Friday&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Ahmad&comma;
