Walsh entered the restaurant brandishing a knife, yelling profanities at his mother, before reportedly lunging and stabbing her, then his dad, both in the stomach
Subdued by onlookers, and later arrested when cops arrived, the suspect he was taken to hospital for evaluation, cursing and fussing at the cops
He remains at Milford hospital without bail pending further evaluation
Suspects mom, Laura Walsh, 53, remains in serious condition in hospital, his dad Michael Walsh, 53 was treated and released

A Massachusetts man accused of stabbing his parents at a restaurant during a family party is now also charged with his girlfriend’s murder.
Benjamin Walsh, 24, was arraigned from his hospital bed Monday after police say he killed his girlfriend and then stabbed his parents at a restaurant Saturday night, WBZ reports.
Police say Walsh stabbed his girlfriend, 20-year-old Olivia Bergstrom, in their apartment in Needham before going to a restaurant in Millis where he was meeting his parents for a family celebration.
Walsh entered Primavera restaurant armed with a knife and began yelling profanities at his mother, Laura Walsh, before allegedly lunging and stabbing her in the stomach, the outlet reports.
Walsh then allegedly stabbed his father, Michael Walsh, also in the stomach.
After the attack Walsh was held to the ground by multiple people while other restaurant patrons and employees tried to give medical assistance to his parents.
When police arrived and attempted to put Walsh into handcuffs, he became even more combative and allegedly screamed “F— you b—-, I’m going to kill you all,” police told Masslive.
Police noted at the time that Walsh’s hands were covered in blood, the outlet reports.
Both parents were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
Laura Walsh, 53, remains in serious condition at Brigham and Women’s hospital. Michael Walsh, 53 was treated and released, WBZ reports.
As police gained control of the scene at the restaurant, family members became concerned about Walsh’s girlfriend, which led to police conducting a welfare check on the couple’s apartment.
When police arrived they found Bergstrom dead from multiple stab wounds.

Walsh is facing charges including murder, armed assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and resisting arrest.
After his arrest he was taken to the hospital for evaluation of his hand, which suffered a laceration, as well as a psychological evaluation. He remains at Milford hospital without bail pending further evaluation, Masslive reports.
Father Michael Walsh is concerned his son was “out of his mind” when he attacked them.
“I know that when Ben realizes what he did last night he will be devastated,” Walsh told Fox 25.

Walsh told the outlet his son has a history of mental health and substance abuse issues, but never imagined he would become violent. Police suspect Walsh may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the attack.
