Police complaint, in the Bay Area say former NFL pro bowler Kellen Winslow Jr, established a pattern of preying on older women during a spate of crimes he has been accused of committing in the past few months.
Further details have emerged about the sexual assault allegations against the former NFL tight end  Kellen Winslow Jr.. The the 34-year-old was arrested in San Diego on Thursday and charged with a number of felonies, including rape, sodomy, burglary, indecent exposure, and kidnapping.
The The San Diego Union Tribune reports that Winslow faces two counts of burglary with intent to rape in June, with the victims being ages 71 and 86.
He has also been charged with kidnapping, rape and forced oral copulation of a 56-year-old woman in March. in a separate incident he allegedly kidnapped, raped and sodomized a 59-year-old woman in May.

A complaint shows that Winslow  faces two counts of burglary with intent to rape in June, with the victims being ages 71 and 86.
He has also been charged with kidnapping, rape and forced oral copulation of a 56-year-old woman in March, and kidnapping, rape and sodomy of a 59-year-old woman in May. The same month he was also charged with indecent exposure.

If convicted of all the charges, the former Pro Bowler could face life imprisonment.
TMZ reported on Thursday that Winslow was taken into custody at the Vista Detention Facility, a jail located in San Diego County. He currently remains in jail without bail.

Winslow’s arrest came exactly a week after he was arrested for burglary at a mobile home park in the San Diego area. Neighbors captured the image his Hummer vehicle as he was inside an elderly couple’s mobile home last week.
The former Pro Bowler and the namesake of the legendary San Diego Chargers tight end. Winslow was confronted by a neighbor and fled the scene in a black SUV, according to The San Diego Union Tribune.
After speaking with the neighbor, authorities eventually located Winslow’s vehicle and arrested him.

Cops responded to a possible burglary call at Park Encinitas Mobile Home Park on Thursday, where they spoke to a neighbor who allegedly saw Winslow burglarize a home

‘A warrant was issued this morning for Kellen Winslow II’s arrest and he was taken into custody by San Diego Sheriff’s Deputies Thursday afternoon,’ the San Diego District Attorney’s Office told TMZ.
Winslow was charged with first-degree burglary and was released after posting $50,000 bail.
What, if anything, Winslow is accused of stealing has not been revealed. Through his attorney, Winslow vehemently denied stealing anything. He said that his arrest was due to racial profiling.
According to TMZ, his attorney Harvey A. Steinberg issued a statement: “Mr. Winslow emphatically denies committing any burglary. He would have no need to burglarize or steal anything from anyone at a trailer park. He looks forward to being vindicated once this matter is fully investigated and adjudicated through the court system.”

Kellen reportedly, is telling friends he believes the burglary allegation against him  was racially motivated.that he was only at the mobile home park to check out a place for his mother-in-law to live when a neighbor freaked out when she saw a big black man who doesn’t live in the community, Kellen allegedly said. Adding that he knows the owners of the home which he is accused of burglarizing — they’re friends of his from church. He’s adamant … he didn’t take anything or do anything wrong.
Winslow Jr.  who was charged with drug possession in January 2014 but received a conditional discharge after being accused of having synthetic marijuana, grew up in San Diego before attending the University of Miami and getting drafted sixth overall by the Cleveland Browns in the 2004 NFL Draft. His dad Winslow Sr, famously played under coach for the Chargers.
In 2005, Winslow famously suffered a severe leg injury while riding a motorcycle in an empty parking lot outside of Cleveland. He sustained torn ligaments in his right knee and was placed on the Physically Unable-to-Perform list.
He went on to play 10 seasons for five teams, and had his best year in 2007 when he finished with 1,106 receiving yards and was named to the AFC Pro Bowl team.
