A second suspect has been arrested in connection to the shooting death of rapper XXXTentacion.
Michael Boatwright, 22, was arrested on an unrelated drug charge on July 5 before he was served with an arrest warrant for first-degree murder on July 10. He and Dedrick Devonshay Williams have been accused of killing rapper XXXTencacion in a robbery gone bad

Boatwright and Williams, ambushed XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, outside RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida around 4pm on June 18. The rapper died after one of the suspects fired a bullet into his neck.

The investigation is ongoing, as authorities search for 22-year-old Robert Allen, a man described as being a person of interest in the investigation.
Allen had been featured on surveillance video at the shop where XXX was shopping before he was murdered.
Allen is also wanted in Broward County on a felony warrant for violation of probation for possession of the drug flakka and carrying a concealed firearm, according to the sheriff’s office.

Robert Allen is on felony probation for multiple counts of misusing a personal ID in the State of Florida. State of Florida court records do show a Robert Allen of the same age with a Fort Lauderdale address who is on felony supervision. Supervision began in 2015 and extends through 2021, the court records show.
Allen also ha convitions for carrying a concealed firearm and drug possession.
The court records say Allen stands 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighs 310 pounds.

Boatwright’s arrest comes after the first suspect, Dedrick D. Williams, was detained.
Dedrick Devonshay Williams, 22, is currently in police custody. Police took him into custody in Pompano Beach, Florida back in June.
His lawyer has said he will plead not guilty.
Authorities say robbery was the motive in the killing of the 20-year-old XXXTentacion, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy.

He also drew criticism over bad behavior and multiple arrests, including charges that he severely beat and abused his girlfriend and was extremely homophobic.
Thousands of fans turned out last month for a music-filled memorial service held at a 20,000-seat arena that is home to the Florida Panthers hockey team.
