Siraj Ibn Wahhaj is also accused of kidnapping his 3-year-old son Abdul-Ghani ‘AG’ Wahhaj, from Georgia in December.
The child who he shared with another of his wives, Hakima Ramzi, reportedly suffers from seizures and other health issues. He was not among the kids rescued when police stormed the compound on Friday, rescuing 11 children aged 1 to 15.
The AG’s mother, who lives in Georgia, told authorities that Siraj Wahhaj kidnapped his son to perform an exorcism on the boy, because he believed the child was possessed by the devil.
Then father is accused of leaving Georgia in December with his then 3-year-old son.
The adults harboring the rescued children are facing child abuse charges.
