Sinead had been working as a crew was discovered unconscious in a tangle of ropes on the boat.
While early reports said the captain of another passing vessel at Argostoli port spotted the 20-year-old’s body in a tangle of ropes off the back of the Mayan Queen IV, other reports claim she was discovered by other crew members as she lay on the back deck of the boat. T
The mystery around Sinead’s death deepens as it is revealed that she also spoke to her brother Jake during her final phone call in the small hours of last Friday, the family’s attorney Charalampos Triantafyllopoulos in a statement said: “The deceased had telephoned her mother and brother shortly before the unfortunate incident under investigation.
“She was crying and referred to an incident that took place on the yacht with another crew member.
Her final moments are believed to have been captured on one of the yacht’s CCTV cameras, which is now a key part of the police investigation.
Officers are also reviewing photographs and messages found on her phone after some crew members told police that Ms McNamara was struggling with a bad breakup, according to local media reports on Tuesday.
Local authorities believe McNamara may have jumped overboard during the early hours of Friday, just minutes after an anguished conversation with a security guard.

The coroner who carried out the autopsy has confirmed that the cause of death was hanging but said results from additional tests could take months to come back.
She had worked her final shift as a stewardess onboard the six-storey yacht and was due to meet her mother and sister the following day after they had flown from Australia especially to see her.
She had been seen talking to another member of the crew, a security guard, some 15 minutes or so beforehand.

‘The yacht had been docked immediately outside the Coastguard offices, which are manned 24-hours a day, so we were able to react to the situation quickly.’
The coroner revealed he had advised dead woman’s mother, Kylie, and her sister, Lauren, against visiting her body in the morgue, saying they should not go ‘to see her in such bad state’.
The captain of another luxury super yacht made the grisly discovery of Ms McNamara’s body, and has detailed how he tried desperately in vain to save her life.
The captain of the boat, who asked not to be named, told news.com.au that he saw Ms McNamara’s body about 1.45am on Friday.
He shouted out to her but after receiving no response, he began screaming for help.
The captain said a police patrol passed the Mayan Queen IV but did not see the young woman’s body.

A doctor on-board the Mayan Queen IV then tried to resuscitate Ms McNamara for several minutes after being alerted. After falling into a coma she was airlifted to an Athens hospital, but died on the way.
‘We were actually celebrating at first because we thought she had been saved. It was later we heard she had died,’  the captain said.
He said he was deeply affected by the incident.
The bikini model had been working as a crew member on the six-storey super yacht, owned by Mexican billionaire Alberto Bailleres, since May this year.
She was just hours away from reuniting with her mother and sister who were mid-air on their way to Greece when she died last Thursday.
Having been forced to cancel the holiday of a lifetime, they will now accompany Ms McNamara’s body back to Australia.
The Mayan Queen IV finally left the port on Monday night after being detained by the local authorities until the crime scene had been examined.
