A rapist who fled from a court building moments after being found guilty of attacking a teenage girl. Bradley Tout, 20, vaulted the dock and ran out of Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday after being unanimously convicted alongside co-defendant Kulin Odedra. Addressing the jury, Judge Nicolas Cartwright said: ‘Well, I’ve never seen anything like that happen before.’

A witness in court said: ‘Seconds before he escaped Tout could be seen with both hands on the dock, which is more than three feet high.
‘With a sudden, violent motion he vaulted over the dock wall, catching his feet on the edge, stumbling slightly as he ran away.
‘However, he swiftly regained his balance only to crash hard into a wall with his shoulder and then into another wall as he sprinted through a narrow corridor, out of the courtroom.
‘The alarms were going off all over the court and the security guards looked very worried that they’d lost him. It was high drama.’
He fled Worcester Crown Court and into the street in front of jurors and court staff.
As his family shouted ‘he’s innocent’ as he jumped over the 3ft wall of the dock, crashing into a wall. He then fled through the court’s atrium and metal detector and out onto the street as members of the jury, legal staff and people in the public gallery looked on, aghast.

Tout, of Ronkswood, Worcester, was convicted of a single count of rape while Odedra, also of Ronkswood, was convicted of two counts of rape, one of attempted rape and one of assault by penetration.
During the trial the girl told how she was plied with alcohol and cannabis by the men after they picked her up in Tout’s car.
Tout parked behind a skip in County Hall, in Worcester, and carried out a sexual attack on her before taking her to woodland where he and Odedra took turns raping her. She said: ‘I felt upset that I had been used. They were just passing me around just like I was this piece of meat.’

Prosecutor Steven Bailey told the jury: ‘This case is about the sexual exploitation of a 16-year-old girl. ‘You will hear evidence of pretty seedy, sordid behaviour. There are no hearts and flowers in this case. Romeo and Juliet it isn’t.’
The girl also took photographs of bruises to her body which she said were sustained as Odedra slapped her while Tout raped her.
The pair are due to be sentenced today.
Judge Cartwright said Tout would be sentenced in his absence if he is still on the run.
Sex offender, Tout, was jailed in his absence for 7½ years at Worcester crown court.
Odedra was jailed for 11 and a half years after he was found guilty of two counts of rape.
Tout is described as white, 5ft 8ins, with short brown hair, and was wearing a white top and dark trousers.
Superintendent Paul Moxley said: ‘We have launched a thorough search for Tout and would urge the public if they see him to contact police immediately. ‘Anyone who is knowingly assisting Tout or harbouring him should also expect to be arrested.’
