Police said Correia was seen with a Coleman in the area of 255 Tremont St. in Boston at approximately 12:15 a.m. Sunday, shortly after leaving the nightclub. She was later seen entering a red sedan in the area of Tremont and Herald streets.
“I would like to thank the community for stepping up and spreading the word and getting this out there as quickly as they did,” Katia Depina, a cousin of Correia said at a news conference Thursday night.
A missing persons report was filed for Correia on Wednesday after he brother and father were unable to get in touch with her.
Her father, Joaquin Correia, told
NECN that he phoned his daughter on Tuesday to wish her happy birthday, but he did not get an answer.
“If I don’t see my daughter, I don’t know how i’m going to live,” the father said through tears. “I feel bad. She told me, ‘Daddy, I’m going to go out.’”
Correia, who is the mother of a 2-year-old daughter, stands at about 5’7. She was last seen wearing an orange jumpsuit and denim jacket with “an image of red lips and pink wings on the back,” police said.
