</span>Tad Michael Norman, 33, was booked into King County Jail ;on suspicion of homicide, robbery and assault on Thursday after his release from a hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.<br />
Detectives are looking into whether the violence started after Norman fired his gun inside the apartment he shared with his wife. The source said Norman then walked outside and opened fire on a 57-year-old woman driving near Sand Point Way Northeast and Bartlett Avenue Northeast around 4 p.m. in a botched carjacking.<br />
Police have said the suspect left his home Wednesday afternoon, shot and wounded a woman driving a car and a male bus driver, then shot and killed another man in a carjacking and got in a head-on crash with another vehicle, killing the man who was driving the other car.<br />
Norman has an active presence on ;Facebook and LinkedIn, which show him to be a married former contract worker for Microsoft.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Norman worked as a contractor for Microsoft for three years as a senior optimization specialist until his contract ended in July 2018, according to his LinkedIn page.<br />
A person familiar with his work history confirmed that he had been a contractor with Microsoft.<br />

He says he graduated with a bachelor&#8217;s degree in sociology from the University of Washington in 2013. Photos of Norman on Facebook show him smiling at his 2016 wedding along with his wife, whom he appears to have met in college. The couple reportedly live in a North Seattle apartment.<br />
A law enforcement source says that Norman ;has no criminal history and is currently unemployed, according to ;<a class="class" href="https://komonews.com/news/local/lake-city-gunman-has-no-job-appeared-intoxicated-during-spree-police-say" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">KOMO-TV</a>.</p>

He was briefly hospitalized after the shootings for minor injuries, but was booked into jail at 12.38am on Thursday.<br />
He is being held without bond in the King County Jail.<br />
It was not immediately clear if Norman has an attorney.<br />
According to eyewitnesses, the male suspect, who lives in the area, emerged from his home with a gun and attempted to car-jack a driver.<br />
During the attempted robbery in the Lake City neighborhood, the driver, a 57-year-old woman, was shot and critically injured.<br />
The suspect is then said to have opened fire at an oncoming King County Metro bus, striking the driver.<br />
Having been shot in the chest, the bus driver is said to have put his vehicle into reverse and driven for a few blocks. before pressing an emergency button and alerting police to the scene at 4:05 pm.</p>

He was branded a hero on Thursday by Seattle officials and emergency responders.<br />
&#8216;So for me that was enough to go, ok, we&#8217;re getting out of here. I&#8217;ve gotta get these people out of here.&#8217;<br />
With bullets hitting the bus, Stark put it in reverse and backed away to safety &#8211; protecting all the passengers.<br />
He then hit the bus&#8217; emergency alarm and reported that he had been injured by a gunshot, triggering a huge response from Seattle police, firefighters and medics.<br />
Images of the green and yellow Metro vehicle show multiple rounds were fired through the windshield of the bus, but remarkably none of the other 12 passengers on board were harmed.<br />
Stark is expected to make a full recovery.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">During the first attempted carjacking, the female driver was shot. She was later transported to Harborview Medical Center where she remains in critical condition.<br />
The shooter carjacked another vehicle after firing at the bus, shooting and killing the 50-year-old male driver before he drove off in the victim&#8217;s car, according to police.<br />
Officers pursued the suspect in the stolen vehicle. During the pursuit, the suspect crashed head-on into another vehicle, killing the 70-year-old man driving that car.<br />
Following the crash, officers were able to convince the suspect to exit the vehicle, where he was taken into custody and transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to police.<br />
Dramatic helicopter footage documented the moment Seattle police arrested Norman, who could be seen writhing around in pain on the ground, next to the open door of a severely damaged red car.</p>
