A man who was convicted of killing his own baby son was punched in the face by his brother, the infant’s uncle, moments after being jailed for 25 years on Wednesday.
Kwin Boes was arrested in May last year after his 11-month-old son Parker died of blunt force trauma to the head.
Kwin Boes had just been sentenced to 25 years, 20 in prison and 5 years on probation after he is released. – Boes, 23, was leaving the courtroom in Evansville, Indiana, in shackles when his brother ran towards him and punched him in the face.
They were separated by court bailiffs.

Boes’ son died last year after being brought to the hospital unresponsive.
The new dad told cops his 11-month-old son Parker died by hitting his head after falling off the couch, but examinations established the infant had been beaten in the head prior to his death.
According to police reports, Boes claims that he fed the baby and went to sleep on the night of the incident.
He stated that when he woke up he found the baby on his back on the floor next to the couch.
He told police said that he believed the child fell off the couch and hit his head on the table after he wiggled out of his “bobby pillow.”
The infant was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville before he was life air-lifted to Riley’s Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, where he was later pronounced dead.
