A man accused of storming into a Queens salon and stabbing his estranged wife to death in a jealous rage has been identified by police.
William Rivas, 39, was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon on Thursday for killing 35-year-old Iris Rodriguez.
The victim was working at the Tu S’tilo Salon and Spa in Jackson Heights, Queens, at about 7pm Wednesday when Rivas sprang.
In tha savage attack Rodriguez was stabbed multiple times in the chest as her stunned co-workers looked on in horror, according to authorities.
Rivas was allegedly seen lying on top of Rodriguez’s lifeless body after the attack, whispering to her and crying as onlookers screamed in the background. Rivas allegedly attacked Rodriguez at the Tu S’tilo Salon and Spa in Jackson Heights, Queens, on Wednesday evening.
