Claudia Ochoa Felix — nicknamed the “Kim Kardashian of organized crime” — was found lifeless in a home in Isla Musala in the city of Culiacan, Spanish-language outlet La Prensa reported Saturday.
Mother-of-three Claudia Ochoa Felix, nicknamed The Empress of Antrax, in mid 2014 aged 27, took over leadership of the ‘Los Antrax’, the elite hit squad, used by the Sinaloa cartel for enforcement and revenge killings, from her lover Jose Rodrigo Arechiga Gamboa, aka “El Chino Ántrax”.
Gamboa led the Antrax squad before his arrest that year.
Ochoa Felix became social media-famous in 2014 for posting photos of herself wielding pink and gold AK-47s and toting designer handbags, The Telegraph reported.
At the time, Mexican newspapers suggested that she was at the helm of Los Ántrax, an armed enforcement wing of the Sinaloa drug cartel, for which she’s been given a second nickname, the “Empress of Antrax,” according to the report.

She denied any allegations of organized crime involvement — tweeting at the time that the reports were “cowardly lies and slander.”
No official cause of death has been released, but La Prensa reported that a drug overdose may have been to blame.
Other reports indicate that she died of pulmonary aspiration — which occurs when someone inhales foreign objects such as fluids into their lungs.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether her death was accidental or whether there was foul play involved.
The night before Ochoa Felix was found dead, she had gone to a nightclub with a man, according to La Prensa. The pair apparently slept late, and when the man tried to talk to her in the morning, she did not respond — so he called the police.
The curvy brunette worked as a model, and was romantically connected to Jose Rodrigo Arechiga, better known as “El Chino Ántrax,” who headed the gang before he was arrested, The Sun reported, citing local media.
