Police said patrol units arrived to the Battleboro home just after 10.15am after receiving 911 calls about ‘an unconscious subject’.
While en route, deputies were advised that the children of the residence had gone next door to a neighbor’s house.
The children told their neighbor that the victim had been stabbed by the suspect.
