Nigerian woman disrupts her husband’s secret wedding to another woman

The wedding was to happen over the weekend in Umuahia, the capital city of Abia state, one of the states in the south eastern part of Nigeria

She informed the audience that the prospective groom is her husband of 17 years and the ceremony cant hold and will ‘not stand’

‘I know that girl. She is a thief, a criminal. Instead of going out tto get her own man, she’s trying to steal my husband

‘It will not happen. It will not work,’ she said refering to her husband’s mistress 

A woman interrupted a gathering where her husband of many years was set to wed another woman without her knowledge. The wedding was to happen over the weekend in Umuahia, the capital city of Abia state, one of the states in the south eastern part off Nigeria.
In a video shared by local TV station, SaharaTV, the woman was seen marching purposelyfully into the wedding venue, before demanding that the proceedings be halted.

The woman stormed the wedding venue and disrupted the wedding proceedings. The visibly agitated woman said loudly, ‘I have been monitoring this situation all along.
‘It will not work. It will not stand’.
She said she knew about her husband’s relationship with the lady for years but was didn’t act on it until he decided to tie the knot with her. 
The distraught woman went ahead to explain to the wedding party that the she has been married to the groom for 17 years ago, adding that they have four children.

She stated that her husband’s other woman cannot come and reap where she didn’t sow.
‘I know that girl. She is a thief, a criminal.
‘Instead of going out tto get her own man, she’s trying to steal my husband.
‘It will not happen. It will not work.’

The emotional woman brandished copies of her traditional wedding, and the white wedding from 2003.
For emphasis she held up photos of their children, informing the wedding party that she shared three sons and a dughter. She says they had no problems in their marriage, but she had been monitoring her husband’s affair with his mistress who he was set to wed in a bigamous marriage.
However, even after she openly confronted her him in the video, the man appeared unrepentant. The woman was last seen kneeling in the dust, weeping and complaining that she had done nothing to deserve the treatment from her husband.
