A Florida lawyer’s yearning for sex behind bars has been disbarred for having sex with inmates in jail and recording the encounters for a pornographic film, according to the state Supreme Court.
His record appeared in the Florida Bar’s monthly report of lawyers disciplined by the state Supreme Court, which came out Thursday.
Andrew Spark, 58, would solicit sex from incarcerated women and offer to put money in their commissary accounts if they let him use the footage for a porn video he called “Girls in Jail,” authorities said.
The high court found that Spark “abused” his attorney-client privilege the panel said in a recent disciplinary notice shared on The Florida Bar’s website.
The 58-year-old has been on probation since Feb. 8, 2019, and is scheduled to remain so until Feb. 7, 2024, after pleading guilty to charges of bringing contraband into county detention facilities.
‘Andrew Spark is disbarred retroactive to July 15, 2019, when he was suspended because of a felony conviction, following a January 21 court order’, according to the discplinay notice.
Spark who was admitted to the bar in 1991, “abused his privilege to practice law and used his law license to engage in deception with the intent to access private rooms provided to attorneys in two separate jail facilities for the purpose of soliciting prostitution,” the discplinary notice states.
Spark video recorded these encounters with the goal of creating an adult pornographic film for his own prurient and financial interest.
He pled guilty to three separate charges and was sentenced in each case to probation.
He’s already finished the concurrent one-year probation for misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution, but the apparently unrepentant Tampa attorney, already serving probation, being caught recklessyly engaging in sexual activity behind bars with a convicted child pornographer, ultimately cost him his legal career.
The conviction comes after Spark was caught with his zipper open, ready to receive another round of oral sex from an inmate he’d photographed performing this sex act on him previously, led to his January 21 disbarment.

The newly disbarred lawyer previously pled guilty to bringing contraband into detention facilities and solicitation of prostitution, leading to the previous five-year probation that ends in 2024, the Miami Herald reported.
Spark was arrested in 2017 after he was caught “fully exposed” in a private room at the Pinnellas County Jail, according to the sheriff’s office.
The rooms where Spark chose to meet women for sex were not equipped with recording devices and only had a small window on the door. The aspiring porn star would then film the inmate performing oral sex on him while he blocked the small window by standing against the door, authorities said.
He would reportedly tell jail officials he needed to bring a camera into the room so he could be “efficient in the representation” of his clients.
“He duped the system because he came in there representing himself as a lawyer,” Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said at the time.
