Rising New York based rapper Tdott Woo was fatally shot hours after signing a recording contract.

Medics rushed him to Brookdale University Hospital where he died

Woo died two years after friend, rapper Pop Smoke, was similarly shot dead in Los Angeles, in Feb. 2020

Rising rapper Tajay Dobson better known by his stage name, ‘Tdott Woo’ was fatally shot in front of his New York home, hours after signing a recording contract.
Tdott Woo, was shot in the head about 2:20 p.m. Tuesday in front of his home on Avenue L near E. 98th St. in Canarsie, Brooklyn. Medics rushed him to Brookdale University Hospital but he could not be saved.
Woo who is credited with inventing the viral Woo Walk dance move, was a friend of rapper Pop Smoke, who was shot dead in Feb. 2020 in Los Angeles.

“I couldn’t even get sleep last night,” Dobson’s teary grandmother said.
”He was a good, good kid . . . He loved singing and dancing and all that. he had a passion for music.” Police don’t yet know what sparked the shooting. The shooter fled in a dark SUV and is being sought while medics rushed the rapper to Brookdale University Hospital, where he ultimately died from his injuries.

On Tuesday, his label Million Dollar Music Records paid tribute to the rapper in a social media post, writing: “It’s an honor to remain your friend until your last moments. Your memories will always stay with us no matter where we go & what we do. Sleep in peace.
“#LongLiveTdott 🙏🏻 Just know his legacy will always live, from his laugh to the dance everyone across the world does, some of us know him a friend, brother, cousin or just a fan but we all come together to tell you FLY HIGH 🙏🏻.”
Woo was killed hours after signing a recording contract.
Million Dollar Music welcomed Tdott to the label via an Instagram post hours before he was shot, saying: “Love to welcome @tdott_woo to the label as an official artist of MDM – and the journey begins.”
