Married Houston mother is shot dead in front of 8-year-old daughter by ‘obsessed’ ex-boyfriend in, murder-suicide
Kenia Osorio, 32, a married mother-of-two, was shot and killed on Sunday afternoon by her jilted ex-boyfriend
Osorio and the man drove to the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, to seek medical attention for the woman’s daughter
When they pulled into the parking lot on the West Campus, the man allegedly shot Osorio as she tried to exit the car
He then turned the gun on himself in the front passenger seat
The victim’s 8-year-old daughter was sitting in the backseat and was not physically hurt
Osorio who was married but going through a divorce with her husband, began dating the gunman a few months back
However, the estranged couple recently decided to patch things up and stay together for the sake of the children

An “obsessed” ex-boyfriend shot his former flame to death in front of her 8-year-old daughter outside the Texas Children’s Hospital. The shooter then killed himself in a disturbing murder-suicide, officials and the victim’s family reportedly said. Texas Children’s Hospital is located in the Katy area of Houston, Texas
The horrific incident took place shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday, as the couple and the child arrived in a car at the Hospital’s parking lot.
Responding officers found the woman shot to death inside the vehicle, next to the dead body of her assailant. The woman’s family identified 32-year-old Kenia Osorio. Her boyfriend has not been named. Osorio’s terrified 8-year-old girl was unharmed in the backseat.
Houston station KHOU 11 reported that was trying to end things with the guy who killed her in front of her 8-year-old daughter.
The victim’s family told station ABC13 that the boyfriend was fixated on the victim, and angry that she had patched things up with her husband and wanted to get back together.
“As far as we know, he pretty much got obsessed because she decided to work things out with her husband and get back together with him,” said her brother Carlos Rivera.

According to a preliminary investigation, Osorio and the man were traveling in a car to the hospital to seek medical attention for the woman’s daughter, reported Fox 26.

“Everything happened in front of my niece. I’m sure it’s hard for her to deal with that,” Rivera said.

Osorio’s family said she was a married woman, who had been going through a divorce with her husband, and a few months ago she began dating her assailant.
Recently, however, Osorio and her estranged spouse decided to patch things up and stay in the marriage for the sake of their two children.
Osorio’s daughter and son are now in the care of their distraught father.
