<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Four vacationers were stabbed and six were arrested at a drug-fueled party at an Airbnb in North Carolina early Monday morning, police said.<br>Police responded to a reported stabbing at the rental home in Marshall around 3:20 a.m. on Monday, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.facebook.com/people/Sheriff-Buddy-Harwood/100076257007350/" target="_blank">according to </a>Madison County Sheriff Buddy Harwood. <br>Four people were treated for multiple stab wounds, while three people are hospitalized.<br>Six people were arrested, all of whom were charged with possession of multiple drugs.<br>Jay Caleb Bell was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, possession of psilocybin mushrooms, possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana, police said.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The other five were also each charged with felony possession of psilocybin mushrooms, felony possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana, according to police.<br>Bell is detained in the Madison County Detention Center and is due in court in Madison Jan. 18.<br>Sheriff Harwood did not say if the drugs played a part in the stabbings.<br>Police said all persons affected were vacationing in the isolated area, which is about 150 miles northwest of Charlotte near the Tennessee border, however, it’s unclear if they were all staying at the same property. Police did not say where the vacationers were originally from.<br>Harwood called the stabbings “an isolated incident” in a statement.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The sheriff&#8217;s office posted an update on its Facebook page Monday night, saying six people had been charged in the case and that all the individuals were vacationing in Madison County.<br>&#8220;We’ve got at least one vehicle we’re looking for,&#8221; Sheriff Harwood said earlier in the day. &#8220;If anybody sees this vehicle we’d love to talk with the individual in that vehicle. And at this time that all I can give you.” <br>The post had the photo of a vehicle with an Illinois license plate. Authorities said the vehicle is possibly occupied by a Daniel Mansilla, without stating Mansilla&#8217;s connection with the crime.<br>The Facebook post said the vehicle had been found, but no other details were released.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">he North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations is assisting with the investigation, he said.<br>Airbnb <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://wlos.com/news/local/madison-county-quadruple-stabbing-investigation-underway-sheriff-buddy-harwood" target="_blank">told WLOS</a> in a statement that its safety team was investigating the incident and has offered support to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.<br>The company said it plans to ban the guest who booked the reservation from the platform and is providing support to the host.</p>
