After crashing into the barrier Kandula jumped out of the cargo truck and started waving a Nazi flag, cops also found a Nazi flag complete with a large swastika inside the truck
He is now charged with threatening to kidnap or kill the president
He is also charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and reckless operation of a motor vehicle

The Missouri teenager was arrested by US Park Police in Washington DC on Monday night after he crashed a U-Haul truck into the White House security barriers last night has been charged with trying to kill, kidnap or harm the president, vice president or a family member.
The U-Haul truck crashed on the north side of Lafayette Square near the White House, officials said.
Sai Varshith Kandula, 19, from Chesterfield, Missouri, was arrested at the scene after plowing the vehicle into security barriers at around 10pm. After crashing the vehicle, he jumped out of the van and started waving a Nazi flag.
Once in custody, the driver identified as 19-year-old Sai Varshith Kandula from Missouri, told the FBI he wanted to overthrow the government, kill President Biden and take over himself. He is now being held in custody.

Kandula has been charged with 18 U.S. Code § 879 – threats against former Presidents and certain other persons protected by the Secret Service. It is punishable by up to five years in prison.
The teenager faces five counts, including assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, trespassing and destruction of federal property, U.S. Park Police said.
He was also charged with threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict harm on a president, vice president or their families, police said.
A driver was detained after crashing into barricades near the White House on Monday night
Law enforcement sources said he flew from St Louis, Missouri, to Dulles, then rented his U-Haul truck.
President Biden was inside the White House at the time of the incident. It’s unclear if he is aware of it now.
No one was harmed, and Kandula was taken immediately into custody, but some of the roads and walkways around Lafayette Square were temporarily closed as the scene was inspected, and The Hay Adams Hotel was evacuated.

‘United States Park Police and United States Secret Service Uniform Division officers responded to the 1600 block of H Street NW for a truck that the preliminary investigation indicates intentionally crashed into the bollards on the outside of Lafayette Park.
‘The driver of the vehicle was identified as 19-year-old Sai Varshith Kandula of Chesterfield, Missouri. Kandula was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, threatening to kill, kidnap, inflict harm on a president, vice president, or family member, destruction of federal property, and trespassing.
