Cassie and Diddy dated for 10 years and share two kids, but she him last year alleging physical abuse, rape and sex trafficking among a range of other offenses

The footage eerily mirrored a claim in her lawsuit which was settled out of court a few days after it was filed

Shocking surveillance footage has emerged of music executive, Sean Diddy Combs, aka ‘P Diddy’, violently attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, in a Los Angeles hotel in March 2016. 
The video, obtained by CNN, shows the rapper, shirtless with a white towel wrapped around his waist, chasing Cassie down the hall at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.
It will be recalled that the pair, who met in 2005 when Ventura was 19 and Diddy was 37, eventually started dating in 2007. They broke up in 2019 after two children.

The surveillance camera footage shows Cassie in a dark hoodie, attempting to get into an elevator, when a furious Diddy wrapped in a white towel, wearing socks and no shoes, comes up behind, grabs her by the back of the hoodie and slams her on floor in the hallway.

He then kicked her as she lay on the ground motionless, before grabbing the two bags she was carrying when she broke out of the room.. 
Standing over the prone woman, he kicks her again before dragging her back to their room by the hoodie.  

Diddy is then seen kicking Cassie as she lay motionless on the floor before turning and grabbing her getaway luggage

Diddy begins dragging Cassie back to their hotel room. He abandons the task and storms back to the room after collecting the two bags she had dropped when he attacked her at the elevator 

The disturbing footage was filmed at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City. 
Two days later, the pair appeared on the red carpet holding hands for the premiere of The Perfect Match.  
In a statement Cassie’s attorney Douglas Wigdor said: ‘The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. 
‘Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.’

Cassie sued Combs last year alleging rape and a range of other offenses. 
They settled out of court in November for an undisclosed amount. In her suit, Cassie recalled an incident eerily similar to the one caught on security footage at the LA hotel.
Cassie in her suit suit claims: ‘In on around March Mr Combs, during an FO at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Mr Combs became extremely intoxicated and punched Ms Ventura in the face, giving her a black eye.

‘After he fell asleep, Ms. Ventura tried to leave the hotel room, but as she exited, Mr Combs awoke and began screaming at Ms Ventura. He followed her into the hallway while yelling at her.
‘He grabbed her, and then took glass vases in the hallway and threw then at her, causing glass to shatter around them as she ran to the elevator to escape,’

Cassie sued Combs last year alleging rape, sex trafficking and a range of other offenses. The case was settled out of court in November, 2023. One claim in that lawsuit alleges that Combs, who she first met as a teenager, told her it would ‘turn him on’ if he saw her with ‘another d***’.

In a statement at the time, Cassie said: ‘I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,’ Cassie said in a statement.
‘I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.’
The former couple shared two children from their 10 year relationship.
They met while the teenager was recording her debut album after her smash hit ‘One Thing’. 
In lawsuits filed since their break-up, Cassie has described their decade-long, torturous relationship in which he controlled her movements and subjected her to abuse. Combs, consistently has denied the allegations of wrongdoing. 
The three-time Grammy winner and founder of Bad Boy Records ranks among the most influential hip-hop producers and executives of the past three decades, having built one of hip-hop’s biggest empires,
has been fighting lawsuits from other accusers who allege sexual misconduct and abuse. 

Misa Hylton Brim, [photo], who shares two sons with Sean Diddy Combs has shared footage of agents from Homeland Security raiding his Los Angeles mansion, calling it use of ‘overtly militarized force’

The just released footage of the March 2016 incident comes just two months after agents from Homeland Security, raided his homes in Miami and Los Angeles as part of ongoing investigations by federal authorities in New York into multiple accusations of a sex trafficking leveled by several former friends and associates.
Combs was not home during the raids but his, teenage sons were handcuffed during the raid at their father’s residence in Los Angeles and images of the cuffed teens were published.

Homeland Security raided Diddy”s Los Angeles mansion in March in what his girlfriend Misa Hylton, described as ‘overtly militarized force’. Misa Hylton who has a child with Diddy has suggested his race played a role in the federal agent’s s actions during the raids

The agents handcuffed and published images of Combs’ sons, Justin and Christian ‘King’ Combs, during the raid at their father’s LA residence, still what the coordinated March 25 raids on Combs’ properties sought to establish has not been disclosed 

In addition to an investigation from Homeland Security and the federal government, Combs is also facing four federal lawsuits.
In February, a music producer filed a lawsuit alleging Combs coerced him to solicit prostitutes and pressured him to have sex with those escorts.
That lawsuit was on the heels of accusations by a different woman, claiming the music executive raped her at the age of 17, two decades ago.
Speaking through his attorneys Combs has denied all of the allegations made in these lawsuits.
