Actor, Nick Pasqual, 34, was charged on Wednesday afternoon with attempted murder, first-degree home invasion, and domestic violence injury, and will be extradited back to Los Angeles.
The star, was arrested last week Thursday in Sierra Blanca, Texas, attempting to flee across the border to Mexico
Pasqual from the cast of ‘How I Met Your Mother’,is accused of attacking his girlfriend, Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn, 35, at her home in Los Angeles on May 23. She is currently fighting for her life in hospital. 
The Hollywood special effects makeup artist was allegedly stabbed more than 20 times by Pasqual, and left for dead shortly after she obtained a restraining order against her.

A GoFundMe set up for Shehorn’s mounting medical bills has raised nearly $103,000, surpassing the $100,000 goal. 
Yesterday, an update was posted saying, ‘Allie Shehorn is making positive steps to her recovery. It’s still a very long road but she is facing it with courage and determination. Love, Jed.’ Jed is a fellow makeup artist and friend of Shehorn.
Organizers initially wrote: ‘I come to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help for someone very dear to me, my friend Allie. 
‘Recently, she faced a horrific and senseless act of violence – she was stabbed multiple times by her ex boyfriend. As a result, Allie is now in the hospital fighting for her life, in critical condition.’

Days later, on May 23, Shehorn was violently attacked in her own home allegedly by actor Nick Pasqual, 34, who was arrested this week in Sierra Blanca, Texas, while attempting to flee across the border to Mexico.
Pasqual was charged on Wednesday afternoon with attempted murder, first-degree home invasion, and domestic violence injury, and will be extradited back to LA. He faces life in prison if convicted.

Pasqual previously attacked Shehorn on at least four occasions according to the her application for a domestic violence restraining order, which was granted days before the knife attack
According to the papers, which were filed on May 18, Pasqual hit her with a belt on January 29, broke down several doors in their Sunland, California, home on March 6 and raped and choked her on April 14.
The escalating abuse, which peaked with the horror stabbing on May 23, also included a violent incident on May 18, which prompted Shehorn to apply for a restraining order.

It was not brush with the law for Pasqual, seen [photo], in an episode of ‘How I Met Your Mother’, circa 2011. Priors include a July 2013 DUI conviction and another months later in February 2014

Pasqual became angry at around 3am ‘and started yelling and screaming at me, which happens when he’s under the influence,’ Shehorn stated.
‘He slapped me across the face and as I was trying to get away down the hallway, he grabbed my hair and pulled me back and I slammed into the floor hitting the back of my head on the ground.’
According to the application, she fled into the bedroom of a friend called Christine White, 62, who shares the former couple’s home.
When Pasqual attempted to smash through, she unlocked door, he shoved it against her causing her to fall to the ground and hit her head again.
That incident Shehorn said, left her with concussion while Pasqual went on to threaten Christine White as she dialed 911.
LAPD booking records show Pasqual was arrested and charged with a felony at 10am the same day but bonded out of jail at 3.23pm that afternoon.

The restraining order request also includes an account of the alleged which happened while they were staying at an Airbnb on April 14. – the couple who had been drinking the previous day, were having sex early that morning, when Pasqual had begun hurting her, Shehorn stated.
She asked him to stop, instead he continued, holding her down by both wrists as she struggled to escape.
When she finally was able to get up, Pasqual unleashed an angry tirade, telling her she didn’t love him if she didn’t allow him to orgasm.
As she tried to leave the room, Pasqual allegedly grabbed her by the throat and squeezed, only releasing her when she threatened to scream and alert the other people staying in the property.
Shehorn added: ‘He has been violent in the past but never physically with me apart from two nights where he ripped clothes off of me [sic].’

In the application, Shehorn was also seeking protection for their roommate Christine White and for the couple’s dog, Riley.
A hearing over whether to make the temporary restraining order permanent had been scheduled on June 11 in Pasadena while Pasqual was due to appear in court on a felony charge in San Fernando on June 12.
Records show that Pasqual has previous convictions, including a July 2013 DUI and another the following February.

The couple’s roommate Christine White told local news outlet KTLA, that she returned home to find Shehorn in a pool of blood in her bedroom, which ‘wasn’t a pretty sight.’
‘This is not the kind of thing that should happen to anybody,’ she continued. ‘You don’t think this is ever going to happen to you.’
Shehorn who is convalescing in hospital is in ‘good spirits’, White said. Pasqual awaits repatriation to Los Angeles for trial. He will be will be held on a $1.075 million bond and faces possible life in prison if convicted.
