A federal criminal complaint filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, alleges Banks, 32, is the leader of a Chicago-based rap collective — called Only the Family [OTF]
He is accused accused of placing a “monetary bounty out for an individual with whom he, [Banks], was feuding”
OTF allegedly, acts as a group of individuals who engage in violence, including murder and assault, at the direction of Banks
Prosecutors said that on Aug. 19, 2022, multiple OTF members in two vehicles,”tracked, stalked and attempted to murder TB, [rapper Tyquian Terrel Bowman, aka Quando Rondo], at an LA gas station
Allegedly, they fired at least 18 rounds at Bowman’s vehicle, striking and killing his cousin Saviay’a Robinson who was traveling with with the target
Banks is one of six co-conspirators charged in the incident, with crimes including murder, murder-for-hire and conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death
The other five persons involved have been arrested and search warrants were executed at locations associated with the OTF members
Indictment, unsealed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 25, charged Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston. five suspects are in custody

The Grammy Award-winning rapper, whose real name is Durk Devontay Banks, is being held by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Banks has been arrested in South Florida in a murder-for-hire plot, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. Better known by his stage name ‘Lil Durk’, 32-year-old Durk Banks, was booked into the Broward County Jail, pending charges of murder-for-hire – to kill Savannah, Georgia, rapper Tyquian Terrel Bowman, aka Quando Rondo, 25.
Banks who was scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon, is accused of being the leader of a Chicago-based rap collective, called Only the Family [OTF], which he allegedly formed in 2010.
The collective allegedly, acts as a group of individuals who engage in violence, including murder and assault, at the direction of Banks, according to a federal criminal complaint filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
He is accused of placing a “monetary bounty out for an individual with whom Banks was feuding,” according to the complaint.
On Aug. 19, 2022, multiple OTF members allegedly used two vehicles and worked together to “track, stalk and attempt to murder T.B., [Tyquian Terrel Bowman, also known as Quando Rondo], at a gas station located in Los Angeles,” according to the complaint.
“The co-conspirators fired at least 18 rounds at T.B.’s vehicle, striking and killing S.R., [Saviay’a Robinson], — T.B.’s family member who was traveling with T.B.,” the complaint said.

Rondo, 25, survived a shooting in Los Angeles in August 2022, but his 24-year-old cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, who was sitting with Rondo and his sister in the back of a Cadillac Escalade, was killed.
Investigators said Rondo was targeted because he was suspected of being involved in the death of emerging Chicago rapper Dayvon Daquan Bennett, aka King Von, 26, in November 2020.
That shooting which happened on a Friday night outside a nightclub in Atlanta also left three people wounded

Lil Durk and five others have been charged with the attempted murder of Savannah, Georgia rapper Tyquian Terrel Bowman, aka Quando Rondo, [photo,] on Aug. 19, 2022. Rondo survived the attack but his 24-year-old cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, who was traveling with him was killed

It is believed that Quando Rondo was targeted by OTF because of his alleged involvement in the 2020 Atlanta shooting that claimed the lives of Chicago rapper Dayvon Daquan Bennett, aka’ King Von,’ [photo], and two others
Banks is one of six co-conspirators charged in the incident, with crimes including murder, murder-for-hire and conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, according to the complaint.
Five people allegedly were paid to travel from Chicago to Los Angeles to commit the murder, the federal complaint said.
The other five persons involved have been arrested and search warrants were executed at locations associated with the OTF members.
The indictment, unsealed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 25, charged Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston.
Banks made his first appearance Friday afternoon at C. Clyde Atkins U.S. Courthouse in Miami.
