A New Jersey businesswoman has been charged with molestation of a minor after her alleged, repeated sexually abuse of an underage boy and sending nude images of herself to the minor over a three-month period, according to authorities.
46-year-old Tara Carr of Woodstown, is accused of molesting the teenager multiple times inside her car. The alleged pedophile is married to Michael Carr, a marketing executive at his wife’s family’s firm Rastelli Foods Group with whom she shares three children. 
She has been charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a victim 13 to 15 years old, second-degree luring/enticing a child by various means and two counts of third-degree endangering-sexual conduct with a child by a non-caretaker.
Carr, a former part owner of Rastelli Kids complex, a summer camp for 900 children and a cheerleading squad, in Deptford Township allegedly, had sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy in Salem County over from March to May of 2024 inside her SUV.
The investigation began after the boy spoke with police last year May, leading to her arrest on January 9.
Carr who has divested her interest in the hugely-successful summer camp, owned an upscale home worth $600,000 in Woodstown, which was sold just last month.

The court documents state that police had been notified of the married mother-of-three’s alleged behavior last May before her arrest.
The teenager admitted to investigators that he had a sexual relationship with Carr, also revealing that his adult lover she frequently sent him explicit messages and images on Snapchat. 
Authorities say the former South Jersey camp director would pick the boy up from his school before sexually assaulting him multiple times around Marlton Park, Pilesgrove, and Mannington Township. 
Investigators conducting forensic search of her cellphone and car found evidence of the teenager’s claims on her Snapchat account. When interviewed, Carr admitted to having a physical relationship with the boy and to sending and receiving explicit messages on Snapchat.

Rastelli Kids Complex has said that Carr who she stepped down last year, at the time worked in management, having no interaction with the children.
In a statement, they said: ‘There were no charges filed against her when these allegations first came to light, and despite rumors, no previous charges were ever filed.
‘Moreover, the RKC management team had no knowledge of the extent of the allegations until the complaint, and neither owner has been questioned by the police concerning these allegations.
‘Since 2007 until these allegations, Tara Carr worked seasonally as part of a larger management team for Camp Sam. 
‘At no time has Tara ever held a management position, coach position, or role other than parent in SJS. 
‘Tara’s limited overall role with the RKC facility ended in May 2024 when she resigned and forfeited all ownership.

Tara Carr is accused of targeting the victim in her car. The wealthy businesswoman, her husband and three children lived in this upscale home in Woodstown, NJ which was sold recently along with stepping down from her position at the family business  

‘To be clear, these allegations do not involve any employees, campers, athletes or members of our RKC community. The alleged victim in the charging document was not involved in any RKC program.’
She is also linked with Camp Sam, which is part of the Rastelli Kids Complex and South Jersey Storm cheerleading squad.  
Carr is currently in jail in Salem County and is scheduled to appear at a detention hearing on Wednesday, January 14.
