The three missing sisters who vanished after a three-hour visit with their father have been found dead in Washington after days of frantic searching by authorities. 
Nine-year-old Paityn Decker and her sisters Evelyn, eight, and Olivia Decker, five, were found deceased on Monday evening, prompting state police to call off the Endangered Missing Person Alert [EMPA]. 
Police had swarmed around Rock Island Campground, blocking traffic and sending drivers in the other direction after they found their father’s truck around 3:45pm on Monday.

The three young sisters were in the custody of their father Travis Decker, when they met met their demise, however the father-of-three is on the run.
While not in custody Decker has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping. However, police warned that the veteran could ‘pose a significant risk if approached’ as he has extensive combat training. He is described as 5’8″ and 190 pounds, with black hair worn in a ponytail and brown eyes. 
According to police Travis Decker, 32, does not have permanent housing and is known to stay at hotels and campgrounds. 
Speaking with local station KIRO 7, his ex-wife, Whitney Decker, said she had been particularly worried when he did not return their daughters because he has ‘really struggled since he left the military.’
‘His mental health can be hard sometimes,’ she said.

While combing through the Wenatchee Forest on Monday evening, the search party found the girls’ bodies near Rock Island Campground off Icicle Road. Cops also found Travis Decker’s truck nearby, but he was gone

Officers of Wenatchee Police Department located Decker’s truck around 3:45pm near Rock Island Campground, prompting a search of the area. The bodies were subsequently found during the search, but the father they were visiting has not been seen. 
A SWAT team was called to the campground around 5pm yesterday and the area was shut down between 7pm and 9pm. 
The girls were last seen alive at their mother’s house, where their dad picked them up for a scheduled three-hour visit. The visitation was part of their co-parenting arrengement. However, the girls hand not been returned their the custodial parent on Friday, their concerned mother filed a missing persons report.
Whitney Decker reported her daughters missing at 9:45pm on Friday and police embarked on locating the girls and their father. 

Authorities found Decker’s white GMC truck around 3:45pm near Rock Island Campground on Monday. While combing the surrounding area the searching party found the his daughters, all deceased. Their dad – the prime suspect in their murders – remains at large

Travis picked the girls from their mother’s house, for a scheduled three-hour visit. Whitney Decker became particularly worried when they were not returned because her ex has ‘really struggled since he left the military. His mental health can be hard sometimes,’ she said 

Whitney Decker told investigators the former couple had a parenting plan in place by the courts for the divorce, and when Travis lost his housing, those plans changed to accommodate that.
While she stated there were no history of domestic violence incidents in their marriage, there were times when her ex tried to exert power or control over her.
According to court filings toward the end of the marriage, Travis was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, but Whitney did not believe he was on any medication to manage the condition. He was supposed to seek mental health treatment and anger management counseling under the parenting plan, but never did, court filings said.

After Decker’s white His GMC truck was last spotted on Highway 2 on Friday, the Washington State Patrol was contacted about issuing an AMBER Alert, but the alert was not issued as the report did not meet criteria, Wenatchee Police Department said. 
Instead, the Endangered and Missing Persons Alert [EMPA], was issued on Saturday after ‘additional information’ was provided, the police department said. 
Law enforcement is asking the public for help in finding Decker, but advised locals not to approach him. 
A GoFundMe page started to help the grieving mother handle expenses has raised $179,840 of the $240,000 goal with over 3,000 donations.
