An influencer was found with her throat slit outside of a cinema with a warning posted to her fans.

The pair argued and her boyfriend, identified only by his last name Liu, dragged the 23-year-old into a stairwell and slit her throat.
The suspect who then reportedly fled to his granddad’s house before being arrested by police Thursday morning, allegedly confessed to killing Irene, during his police interview.
He claimed the row started when he tried to collect the $13,937 he supposedly lent her over the course of their relationship.

Gu and Liu both were employed by a nightclub in Taipei she worked as a public relations officer while he was he was working as a security guard.
Gu met Liu when she first went clubbing on the recommendation of her mother who wanted her to see the world. Irene who had 30,000 followers on Instagram, subsequently left her banking job to work in public relations so she could have the same lifestyle and work schedule as her boyfriend.
However in May, she had filed a complaint for assault against Liu as well as applying for a protective order.

The pair had been at odds. Liu allegedly said he was trying to collect money she owed him. However, Gu previously wrote ‘Most importantly, I don’t owe him money!’

But he failed to appear in court, and in the days leading up to her death, Irene posted: ‘If you hit me, I’ll go to the police, right?’
In another post, she wrote: ‘Someone asked me why don’t I just block him?
‘Because he’ll find me, he even asked my colleagues if I was at work, disturbing my co-workers.
‘Most importantly, I don’t owe him money!’
The investigation into her murder continues.
