<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The dismembered remains found in singer D4vd&#8217;s Tesla have been identified as Celeste Rivas, who had gone missing from Lake Elsinore, California in April 2024. <br>The victim&#8217;s mother <a class="" href="https://www.tmz.com/2025/09/17/d4vd-tesla-decomposing-body-name-released/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">believes</a> her long missing daughter, now 15, matched the description police provided about the remains. <br>The teenager’s mother claimed to the outlet that her daughter had a boyfriend named David and that the police description closely matched her missing child. <br>According to a missing poster circulated after her disappearance, Celeste Hernandez was 13 years old at the time she went missing, weighed 120 pounds, and had dark brown hair and eyes. <br>She was last seen wearing gray pants, a black sweater, a hat, and Hello Kitty sandals.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The remains believed to be the missing girl was discovered last week by officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responding to reports of a foul odor coming from the vehicle. <br>The odor led to finding a decomposing body in a bag stashed in the trunk of an impounded Tesla that had been sitting in the impound lot for days. The vehicle had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills area, five days earlier. <br>It had Texas plates registered to David Anthony Burke, a 20-year-old pop star better known by his industry name D4vd.<br>The remains has been been identified, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner announced. Earlier this week, ABC 7 confirmed the body found belonged to a teenage girl between &#8217;14 and 15 years old.&#8217; <br>Police previously gave a description of the victim, who was a 5&#8217;1&#8243; female weight 71lbs with black hair and a tattoo on her right index finger that read &#8216;Shhh&#8230;&#8217;, She was found wearing a tube top, black leggings, a metal stud earring and a metal bracelet in the shape of the letter W and had a distinctive tattoo on her index finger<br></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Authorities revealed the teenager’s decomposing body was found inside the trunk of a Tesla registered to the 20-year-old pop star, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. <br>Police later informed D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, that his Tesla was in an impound lot amid gruesome circumstances.<br>&#8216;D4vd has been informed about what&#8217;s happened,&#8217; a spokesperson for the singer told NBC Los Angeles at the time. &#8216;And although he is still on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities.&#8217;<br>It&#8217;s unclear whether the singer, known for hits like Here with Me and Romantic Homicide, had loaned his Tesla to someone or if it had been stolen.</p>

He continues to perform as scheduled, with dates across Europe set for next month.</p>
